Joe King arrived on time. He protected our floors with shoe cover. Handled the equipment , answered questions. Cleaned & Checked all 4 of our units. He made recommendations. Very Professional.

I have used King Heating & Air Conditioning several times. For both furnace repairs as well as bi-annual visits as part of a maintenance plan. Joe is always very responsive and flexible in scheduling appointments. I found the prices to be very fair for the work performed and would recommend him to anyone looking for this type of service.

A crew of two technicians were sent in order to cut down on the installation time. They arrived on-time and finished slightly ahead of schedule. They came prepared with drop cloths and booties so as not to dirty our floors and were very curtious and professional. A thorough walkthrough of the installed equipment was given as well as an explanation on the product warranty and service warranty. Highly recommended for competitive pricing and professional service.

When our current oil provider came out to look at our furnace, they discovered a crack and told us we needed to replace it. I found King Heating thru Angie's List and spoke to Joe on the phone about coming over to give us a second opinion, since our current oil company gave us a replacement cost of almost $5K (along w/ a week turnaround). Joe came out on a Friday and agreed that the furnace needed to be replaced, and offered to install a new furnace on Sunday - and for the more expected cost of around $3200. We couldn't be happier with the service we received and fully intend to have King Heating service the furnace, as soon as our current contract expires.

We needed to replace our old electric baseboard heat and install central air and contacted several companies for estimates. King Heating and Air was by far the most professional and knowledgable. Their price was very competitive. From the beginning of the job to the end they were courteous and clean with great communication and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. It was a big job, we didn't have any existing duct work and to add to the challenge our house had very limited access with no attic and just a 2.5 foot crawl space but they did an awesome job. They started when they said they would and finished sooner than expected. Our home is now always very comfortable and we're saving money every month with the much more efficient heat pump. We give them the highest recommendation possible. He even checks in with us from time to time to see how things are running. From the original estimate to the finished installation, everything was done on time and exactly as Joe described it would be. The installation took two days but the entire heating and cooling system was replaced so this went pretty quick. The air was back on by 3:00 the first day. All of the duct work, electrical and other pipes were installed with attention to detail. Joe King is the type of service provider you see on This Old House.

Joe King was very responsive to phone calls and emails from the day I called him for an estimate, and was open to suggestions during the project and answered any questions I had about why he was doing things a certain way. Joe installed a Bryant Evolution heating & cooling system to service the 1st and 2nd floor of the house.- Included removing the old heating system that used oil, and removed the old oil tank.- Installed a natural gas system.- Removed old duct work in the basement and did a great job installing new duct work (wrapped/insulated very well, received a couple of compliments by friends and inspectors).- Added a vent to the living room on the 1st floor.- Added a vent in the dining room on the 1st floor.- Added a vent in the kitchen, which involved cutting through a brick wall- Added a vent in the breakfast room.- Installed the cooling unit outside and used a mason to install a brick patio for the unit to lay on. Installed a Mitsubishi Mr. Slim mini-split unit on the 3rd floor.- Placed the outside unit on the same brick patio next to the central air unit outside. I got the estimate in late May 2011 and Joe started the project in late July 2011, which took about 1 week to install the Bryant Evolution system. Reason for the delay was on my end with figuring out financing that Joe provided paperwork for and deciding between contractors. The mini-split unit was installed around September 2011 and only took one day. The reason I chose Joe King over the other two estimates was that Joe was the owner, installer, salesman, and servicer for his company. He only has one assistant (that I know of) that helped Joe during the installation. The reasons I didn't go with one of the other two contractors was that one wanted to install a bottom line heating & cooling system and the other contractor was the owner but not the installer (so I didn't feel comfortable giving someone business if I didn't meet the installer). Overall, I thought the project went smoothly and Joe resolved all maintenance issues very quickly that have come up during the first year (a couple times over the phone and one time he had to come out to fix the issue; all issues dealt with quirks with the thermostat).

Joe and his crew did an exceptional job installing a central air system. He showed up promptly to assess the job and provided a competitive quote. He responded to questions via email within hours. Joe estimated that the job would take about a week, and the job was completed in that time frame. The job site was kept clean, and the installation looked neat and organized. Joe is a bit of a perfectionist... something we value in a contractor. The township required an inspection after the job was completed, and the A/C installation passed with flying colors. It's been a year since the installation, and we are still very pleased with the work Joe did. We had Joe back recently for the annual service and the service fee was quite reasonable and the service was very thorough.

Everything went smoothly and just as it was explained to us. We were even given assistance in obtaining the "rebates" available to us at that time. We were made to feel that it was important that we were satisfied customers.
