+ 1 moreThe man took the deposit, did half the work, and left the sidewalk torn up all winter long. He’s now under indictment from other’s experiences. I had to have another contractor come out to complete the work.
Description of Work: I used them based on a recommendation from my neighbor.

+ 0 moreIt was a really horrible, expensive lesson.
Description of Work: Rich came to our house, gave a detailed description of the work he would perform, and he also gave us the terms of the contract. We contracted for a 700sf poured, stamped concrete patio with approximatley 100 linear feet of retaining walls and two sets of steps. He returned a week later to "lay out the foundation" and collect the deposit. I paid the $3400.00 deposit by check, and he and his helper went to work. When they left a few hours later, the layout consisted of old extension cords, bits and pieces of wood, and string in the shape we had discussed. He cashed the check that day. A months worth of phone calls, emails, voice messages, and finally us asking for our money back went unanswered. We have since filed with the BBB, retained an attorney, and found out he was arrested for fraud in July.
