With respect to the lamppost, he did a great job. Moreover, I did not have to be at home, which was very convenient. His quotes for additional lighting were reasonable. He offered various options. (I will post more on this once I have the project completed.) In conclusion, Bill was professional, responsive, and seemed very knowledgeable.

I had ordered a new washer and dryer and when the delivery occurred, the men would not disconnect and remove my old dryer due to the way it was connected electrically. Bill Mullen was able to fit me in to his schedule on very short notice to come and disconnect the old dryer and install the new dryer. While he was at my home, he also rewired a light in the garage that had not been working properly. I really appreciate his willingness to fit me in and fix my problems on such short notice!

Bill the electrician arrived on time, was polite and he went right to work and was reasonably priced and in my opinion he is an excellent electrician, he was finished in around 1 hour.

We first used Bill in August and were very satisfied with the results. At that time I gave him an all "A" rating as well. After having insulation blown into the ceiling of our kitchen which the contractor said would also flow into the office, we felt the need to replace the recessed lights in the office with those compatible with insulation. Bill came out and gave us an estimate for that as well as replacing our lamp post light and some outlet replacement in the kitchen. His price was fair, we scheduled a date, and he came and completed the work in a very professional manner. He mentioned to me that the new light I purchased for the lamp post was defective and I was able to run to the store and pick up another while he was here doing other work. Cutting the ceiling to replace the lights was messy but Bill did clean up and left a very clean room. We would recommend Bill Mullen without hesitation.

I had some odd electrical issues within my home. I contacted Bill Mullen and he responded within a day (maybe less). We set up a time that accommodated my schedule. Bill came on time and checked out the house and determined that the problem seems to be in the electric box outside the house which was locked by my energy provider. He suggested I call them and see what they can find out and let him know the outcome. He did not charge me for the visit even though it was a 30 minute drive for him. I will certainly call him back if there is still an issue after I work with my energy provider and for any future need. i have already recommended him to someone at work.

We just decided to go with another vendor.

Bill was very professional and courteous. He performed the few minor electrical "chores" I had put off doing because I felt they would take me too long. Bill had them done in a little more than an hour, and the work was done ver well. I'll have him at the top of my list the next time I need electrical work.

I've had Bill work in my home before and he's been excellent both times. Previously he did a larger job (recessed lights) but this time he came for a smaller job and still provided the same great service. I had a handyman improperly wire an outlet and Bill easily fixed that. He also installed a very old chandelier that had some sentimental value to us. Two other people had problems with it but Bill made it work! He's very easy going, honest, and good at what he does. I've noticed a spike in the number of reviews since I last used him, so book him fast. He's starting to get really busy because of his solid reputation. You won't be disappointed.

Bill was prompt. We discussed the issue of a circuit breaker tripping. We discussed what was on that line and he gave me options to repair the problem. He gave me a price and I gave him the ok to fix the breaker. We went with the easiest solution first. He had a new breaker with him and the problem seems to be corrected. We also discussed other things to think about updating. He was prompt. very polite and treated me as a valued customer.

I had a bay window with a window seat installed. I wanted a light fixture install above the seat. I had the window and seat painted. The space in the ceiling above the seat was very tight. The handyman couldn't readily do the wiring and attach the new light fixture. I called and set up an appointment with Bill. He was real gentleman and professional. He called to tell me that he was running late and reconfirmed that he was coming. He cleaned up after the job was completed. He offered other suggestions to improve the area lighting that I was working on. I was very pleased with his work

HE came the same day I called. When he was unable to come to my house at the time specified he called and we rescheduled for a bit later that day. He could have made it into a bigger issue than it was, but didn't, provided a simple solution, cleaned up after himself, and left. Altogether a positive experience.

I was extremely satisfied and have already contracted for him to do another job. Bill is a wonderful person, a great electrician and my two (2) dogs fell in love with him. I told him, both my grandfathers were accidently electrocuted as young men, so I am especially anxious about anything electrical. He put all my fears to rest. He went out of his way to make sure everything was okay. The initial visit was on July 25th and he came out on November 15th. The price is the most recent visit and I previously paid him 99 dollars.

After a recent kitchen remodel I discovered I needed to move an outlet for the sake of an attractive backsplash. Coincidentally, Angie's List was running a special from Bill Mullen Electric that day for 2 hours work. I hadn't tried one of these specials before but decided to take the plunge. Bill was able to move the outlet and attend to my dryer's outlet. The process of making the purchase was very easy and convenient. At the same time I had a waterproofing system installed in the basement and discovered I needed a new outlet down there as well. Bill was able to come another day and install that. I would definitely recommend his services. He is prompt and professional.

I called Bill in advance of his visit and told him what I needed. He advised me to have a replacement fixture on hand in case the current one couldn't be fixed. He was right. He removed the broken fixture and put the replacement in. He then checked out my spotlight in the yard. It is attached to the second story of the house. He has no problem with heights and used my ladder. He determined that the bulb was burned out. He said he would replace it with a new bulb. He hasn't returned to do that yet. While he was working I asked him questions about replacing light fixtures. He told me I could do the indoor replacements myself and then he showed me how to do it myself! What a great piece of information to have! Bill is a genuine professional. When I need an electrician he will be the one I call.

Bill Mullen, the owner, did an excellent job of communicating with us about when he would arrive to do the work we outlined. He arrived on time, completed the work, and cleaned up the work areas before leaving. He is a very knowledgeable professional who is willing to go the extra mile to get the job done satisfactorily. We will definitely hire Bill Mullen Electric again for additional work.

I jumped at Angie's "Big Deal" to receive one hour of electrical work for just $99.00 from Bill Mullen Electric. I called Bill immediately, and setup an appointment. He arrived on the scheduled date to fix an electrical outlet in my computer room, that had quit working. In about 5 minutes he repaired it. Bill requested that I test the outlet to make certain it was now working. It was! He also replaced a battery in my smoke detector - no charge. Bill is courteous, professional, and fast. I will certainly use him again for all of my electrical work. And, I feel comfortable recommending his service to anyone.

I was already in the middle of some extensive renovation when I contacted Bill. He was really responsive and a good communicator. He was able to come to the home the next day to inspect the place. He was prompt and very likeable in person. He listens to your ideas and makes great suggestions based on your needs and style. What really sealed the deal for me was the fact that he was willing to fill me in before he left for a family vacation. He knew it would be weeks before he could fit this job in, so he decided to stay late on a Saturday to help me out! Along with someone else on his team, he installed the recessed lights with a very nice dimmer the very next day. The lights have become the star of the living room and I'm very pleased with the results. Considering that Bill was able to help me out in a pinch, this was a great deal and it only happened because of Angie's List.
