The Owner/Founder of the company, Robert, came out to my house with flooring samples. I chose a very thick Armstrong Linoleum. I was told it was guaranteed for several years. I never got that in writing. I offered to remove the base trim before they arrived, but Robert Sponsler told me not to bother, the installers would take care of that. The installers were late showing up. I was not the first job of the day. They were short on subflooring. I paid for one large piece of subfloor. I suggested they go to the local lumber store and get what I paid for. They told me if "I complained one more time, they would walk off the job!" I was having an important event the very next day, and didn't that. To solve their shortage, they went out to the truck and came up with scraps of subfloor in all sizes and shapes, including a TRIANGLE! The sub flooring didn't reach the wall on one end of the kitchen. They used several small pieces and pieced it together like a jigsaw puzzle. They pieced the linoleum together so I had three seams, I was told there would be one seam. They didn't glue the seems down. Under a built in hutch in my kitchen, instead of cutting and gluing down the floor, they literally left the end of the roll curled up against the wall. When they moved the Fridge back in place, they torn a chunk out of the new floor. That's when I noticed how thin it was and immediately said something. The Installer said " You don't know what you're talking about. You got exactly what you paid for." At that point I was so intimidated, I stayed in the living room and cried until they were gone. They cut three deep grooves in my bedroom floor by throwing their tools in there. I didn't see that until after they left. I was in tears within first half an hour of their arrival. I saw a three inch slice where they cut out at the corner of the cabinet. He said "The knife slipped". I went out that very evening and bought the metal strips to cover the seams that were gaping open,and three throw rugs to hide the floor. There was an ink spot on the bottom side of the linoleum. It bled right through! I called Robert the next morning and he said "Well you probably spilt dye on it" When I called to complain, Robert Sponsler talked very nasty to me on the phone. He was very disrespectful! Two of the installers turned out to be his sons. He refused to come see what his boys had done. And just flat refused to talk to me at all, he pretty much called me a liar.
