A-1 Paving

The crew dug out/removed 15 feet of the driveway in front of the garage door that was bad. They filled the dug out area with stone/gravel and compacted it. They removed all the overgrown grass on the sides of the driveway. The repaving went quick. The driveway looks great with no low spots anymore.

Provided a free estimate and was among the lower priced bidders. This was after not only describing the project as I saw it, but after recommending what work needed to be done. Once I completed some extra work I had to do before he could start, I called Tom to let him know to get me in the schedule. He arranged to call the night before work was to begin. So, when the time came, our schedule matched, and he and his crew arrived on schedule the next morning. The entire crew was great and worked together quite well to get the job done as promised at the estimated price. He cleaned up the debris that was a result of the sluice pipe removal & hauled it away too. We really appreciated the way the driveway was edged at the yard prior to the resurfacing and the finished asphalt edging that was done to prevent future chipping.

Called A-1 Paving in the morning on Monday 4/24/2016. Tom returned my call that evening,said he was in the area and could stop by. He did and I explained what I wanted done.I said the work could be done anytime.Tom said since his equipment was in the area he could do it tomorrow.Said he had a little bit to finish on the other job but would be there by 8:30.Arrived right on time.The thing I liked is that he was hands on. He didn't send someone to do the job. He worked with them to see the project was done correctly.Everything cleaned up and they were gone by 4:00. Tom provided the best quote out of 3 companies. He came out the same day I called gave and gave a quote on the spot. Since I gave 2 other companies a chance to quote I waited until those quotes came through before making a decision. Not only did he provide the best price the job turned out perfectly. Tom and his crew got rid of the bottom 1/3 of my driveway which was cracked up pretty bad and replaced it with new asphalt. He put a tar strip down at the seam. I highly recommend A1 Paving for your paving needs. You won't be disappointed.

Tom was fantastic. I called last week and left a message. Tom Wells called me back just 2 hours later asking when a convenient time to come out would be. He came that same day and gave me a free estimate and best of all it was reasonable! Tom and his crew arrived promptly at 8:30 as promised and did an incredible job. Tom and his entire crew couldn't have been nicer. They all went above and beyond as far as the work went. By 3 pm they were done, and I was impressed. They did a beautiful Job and was not one penny over the estimate. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

Tom came out and gave us a free estimate, he was on time and easy to talk to. After discussing the job witth Tom we agreed upon a price which Tom gave us in writing. Within a week Tom and his crew prepped my driveway and had it paved in a day. The job was completed exactly as we agreed with no additional charges. His crew cleaned up all waste as if they had not been there. I introduced him to my neighbor and he paved his driveway the next day. Both of us were very happy with the service. Tom was present during the installation and gave detailed directions on care and usage of the driveway After completion.

The owner, Tom Wells, came out personally to discuss some problems we had with our driveway, the best way to remedy these problems, and give us an estimate for the work. Tom is a very nice and personable individual. After reviewing all the estimates for the work, we decided to go with Tom and A-1 Paving. The job covered two separate days due to weather concerns. Both days they showed up as promised, were professional and courteous and did an outstanding job. We can highly recommend Tom and his crew at A-1 Paving. I am very pleased with the driveway. It took them a while to call me back after I left them a message but when they did, they jumped right on it. They came to the house and did a detailed inspection. They recommended a couple different ways to go giving me the choice and when they did the driveway, they were prompt, organized, and kept a nice working area. The driveway looks great and I believe we got a good value for the price paid. I would definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors.

The estimate was done quickly and for a great price. The work was done when Tom said it would be done and the quality of the work was excellent. They came and sealed the driveway and turnout today. Once again excellent work done when Tom said he would do it. I would recommend the services of A-1 paving to anyone needing driveway work done.

A-1 Paving put a new skim coat on our driveway last year. They were in the area and just stopped by to ask if we would be interested. They were professional and answered all my questions and they gave us a good price. We agreed to have the work done and they did it that day. They stopped back earlier this year to ask about sealing the driveway, but we weren't ready yet. Saturday they stopped when they were in the area and asked if we were ready yet. We asked for a price and he gave us a very reasonable rate. We accepted his offer and in less than an hour, our driveway was sealed. It looks like a brand new driveway. The work done was outstanding (again). We will definitely use A-1 Paving again and we have referred them to everyone we know that needs any driveway work.

Tom and his crew did a fabulous job, were punctual, tidy and courteous. I enjoyed their company for two days! The driveway looks BEAUTIFUL. What a difference from the old cracked concrete. Everything cleaned up perfectly and job done in time frame promised, right to the hour. We couldn't be more pleased. Their pricing was better than other pavers we contacted. Workmen came on date scheduled and on time. widened driveway and resurfaced top. Job done in a few hours. workers were polite and respectful of property. Great job cleaning up after themselves. Would us this company again.

Called them Monday afternoon and by Tuesday afternoon the job was done. The two owners, Tom Wells and his son were on the scene the whole time and brought a four man team with them..All six guys worked hard and efficiently. Their response was great, their product was great and they gave me a great price. I would never hesitate to use them again.

We bought our house approximately 7 years ago, and we had a very long stone driveway with a large parking area next to the house. It was definitely on our list of projects to do, and we had many estimates from various companies over the years for the cost to do the project. A-1 Paving had stopped by about a year ago with an appealing price, but we were not ready to do the project at that time. We called them back in the beginning of the summer to go over it again, and the price, again, seemed too good to be true. We were skeptical of the work they would do for the amount quoted, you know the old saying "you get what you pay for", but they did everything they said they would do, and more. They were on time, professional, had a large friendly work crew, and were able to do it all in one day. They cleaned up after they were done, and they made sure we were satisfied before they left. They offer a two year warranty which also gives us peace of mind. We love it, and it made our home and property look amazing!

The guy did an amazing job. He was a trustworthy and an honest person. He had also done a lot of work in the area so we could see the type of work he had done. It was not a personal recommendation, but we had seen him around our area a lot. The few times that he stopped by we weren't ready to do it and he was perfectly fine with that. He would stop by periodically once every 6 months or so and check in and then he came by and actually gave us a really good deal with a percentage off. He said that he would give us that much off if we got it done right then, rather than waiting till next spring. We did a deal with him for doing it last summer instead of this spring and saved our money. My husband looked into that to make sure that that was really a true saving and it was.
