I want to complain about the horrible experience my wife and I had with Ariel Fundator, the owner Pocono Homes R Us. We wanted to do landscaping on our property for a few years now and we were very happy when we found Ariel to do the work. The contract specified the job description including a specific number of loads berm and top soil that was required for this job. Then problems started. First, Ariel moved the date of the project multiple times, and then he let us know that he does not want us to be present while the job was being done because we would count the loads. Apparently, he planned to deliver less loads. (Each load of berm cost about $300 and top soil $600) All communications with Ariel were via email. This is what he wrote to us, "From our conversation, I have a feeling that Igor will be there to count loads. I hope I will not have a problem with the final payment if there is going to be less loads." He continues with "please let me know today, because I need to make my plans for the week as well, if I will have a problem at the end of the job please let me know today and I will return the deposit no problem." And that is exactly what we did, we took his offer and asked for our deposit back. Instead, Ariel decided to keep the deposit of $2000. The excuse was that we breached the contract. As you can see from the email above, he did plan to cheat us on the number of loads, plus he did offer the deposit back to us himself. No work has been done on our property and Ariel does not want to return our deposit back. Ariel is a cheater and unprofessional man. Ariel does not care about the contract and he does not stand behind his words. He's "professional" words means "nothing." Stay away from Ariel and his company Pocono Homes R Us.
