Description of Work: Our rain gutters connect to underground pipes, which also connect to garage drain. Drain pipe got clogged and during heavy rain, water backed up into the garage.

Main sewer line clogged and camera inserted in sewer line showed pipe cracked and collapsing about 60 feet out. The yard had to be dug up with a backhoe and sewer pipe replaced. The men were very professional and truly seemed to care about their work and customer satisfaction.They worked outside all day on the coldest day of the winter. They were very fair. Chad Baker from Drain and Pump Services was at our house within an hour of when we called. They exceeded all expectations for total cost, timely work, and professionalism.

Description of Work: The secondary 4" drain for the powder room and laundry was clogged before the 'Y' where it joined into the main sewer drain in the basement. The plumber we called did not have the auger necessary to clear the clog and he recommended I call Chad. He (Chad) came out within an hour of the call and set to work with his augers. He took off the commode, cleared the drain (about 25 years of 'sludge'), replaced the wax ring, remounted the commode and leveled it all up. He cleaned up and guaranteed his work for 90 days. "Any problem, I'll return and fix it at no charge". All told, he was here for about 2.5 hours. I expected a bill of 4 to 5 hundred dollars. He charged me $210. Needless to say, his card is on my fridge and I'd recommend him without hesitation! Thanks Chad Baker!

I used another company that charged several hundred dollars to cut the roots that had grown into the pipe; however it did not get everything and the drain backed up again. That company could not be reached to enlist their help again. Called another company and they said they would call me back later in the day and I still haven't heard from them. Found this company on Angie's list. This company used a camera to visualize the issues and pressurized water to clear pipe. Provided me with a video of the camera moving through the pipe showing the clogs and then the area once cleared. Really amazing to see. Received immediate response when called this company and they visited the next day. Prompt and professional service. Can't say enough about how pleased I am with this company.

Description of Work: Chad came to the rescue AGAIN! We are not only repeat customers, but life long clients. Chad cleaned and opened 4' cast iron sewer line. He cleared all the roots that had grown into the line. We had another clog due to the large mature trees in our front yard.

I called my normal plumber (Gingrich Plumbing - also outstanding!) who said they didn't do this sort of thing, but highly recommended Drain & Pump Services. Description of Work: Chad came out and took a look at the exterior drainage systems which was blocked and wasn't allow the gutter or sump pumps to properly work = lots of problems for our basement. I had another estimate for over 3x the price as what this cost me with Drain & Pump services. Right away Chad showed a good knowledge of how my system worked and a calm and practical approach (as opposed to the other quote that wanted to rip our and redo).

Drain and Pump Services is a wonderful professional company to work with. TRUSTWORTHY. They really helped us save money for our new life together. They specialize in clogs and have experience and the right equipment. Our Story: We are a young couple trying to save money for our wedding. We had a backup in our sewer line which caused water damage to our basement. The Insurance company immediatly sent out a DIFFERENT plumbing contractor who did not fully route our pipe and immediately told us we needed to replace the entire sewer line/piping, who quoted us $10,000-$25,000 for replacement of the whole sewer line. The insurance company contractor told us the entire line needed replaced due to tree roots and broken pipe. They kept talking about our insurance company paying for it. Turns out, no homeowners insurance covers digging and replacement of sewer line. We were very upset and unsure what to do. We decided to call Drain and Pumping Services, Dillsburg PA for a second opinion. They have a brand new jet and great modern scope equipment. They sent Chad out, who was kind and down to earth. Immediatley, you could tell he was looking out for our interest and really trying to resolve the clog first. Chad looked at our line and told us his opinion. He ran a snake through our line which still had water in the line. Then, Chad scoped our sewer line and discovered that the pipe was intact with very little root breakthrough. Chad told us that there is nothing wrong with our sewer line and we could get another 20 years out of it. CHad recommended running the high power water jet through the pipe. This cleared the clog out of the line!!! We re-scoped the sewer line and discovered it was clear and in perfect condition!!!! Imagine our surprise and joy, to hear the exact opposite of the previous plummer. If we had dug it up (following the first contractor's recommendation), we would have wasted money. Chand recommended flushing the pipe with the high power jet every 1-2 years to keep the line clear.
