Jim was very professional, friendly and informative. He knew exactly what to do and did all the jobs quickly without disturbance. We initially hired Mr. Electric do the 200 amp panel upgrade but quickly realized what a great electrician we had so we asked for a quote to do other jobs in our home. The quote was very fast and Tom worked with us to get it in our hands and worked around our schedules to get the work completed. We are really pleased at all the work and will gladly recommend Mr. Electric to all. We will always use this company for all things electrical!

The service technical arrived on time, actually a little before the agreed upon time, and he was very professional, Dressed very neatly, and he was extremely informative as to what my issue was and how he could repair the issue. He went over the electrical panel and the outside of my home and gave me estimates to repair, add surge protectors and left the decision as to how I wanted to proceed with the service. Of course, I decided to have the outside repairs done to the lines coming into my home, but then he gave me a choice as to surge protection for my home, two different prices. He said I could choose to just to do the repairs to the lines coming into my home, or add one of two surge protectors to my box inside. No pressure whatsoever. I choose to do the surge protectors with the 10 year warranty. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work.

I was really impressed with the service. The young man was punctual, answered and explained all my questions in layman's terms, was able to have another driver deliver an additional piece to my address and was not held up with the job. He was very professional and cleaned up his mess.

I purchased a Big Deal, $49 for $249. They installed an outdoor light for my house. When they got there they called and asked if I had a light, I said no. I thought, "here we go again, getting up-charged." To my delight, the response was, "Well you are under your total price so we will just use on of ours." That was awesome! They did a great job and I would use again! Thanks!!

Mr. Electric's technician arrived right on schedule to install an outdoor receptacle. He quickly got to work, installed the outlet, checked it and showed me the work. He left the area tidy and neat. I was so pleased with the work that I had him replace an outdoor light with a motion detector. Without a doubt, I would call Mr. Electric again. The price was fair and the work performed was excellent.

It went very well. They were really nice people. They came out promptly. They had the special for $99 for a complete home surge protection package, and they charged me $100 more for the surge protector for my type of electrical panel. I don’t think it was a bait and switch – it did seem to take more time – but I’d like it if they’d notify you about the extra charges for recessed panels. I might use them again; I'd certainly get an estimate for a future job.

I left a message with Mr. Electric and they called back within an hour. I told them the problem and they went to the site and determined the problem. Mr. Electric called and let me know what the problem was and the cost of the repair. I gave the OK and they completed the repair. All of this was done within 4 hours. Mr. Electric was very easy to deal with, I will use them again when needed.

Tom and his team installed 20+ recessed lighting in my home. They were very professional and did a great job at my house. They finished the job in a day as promised and they were through in their work. We were very pleased with their work and we would certainly hire them for any future electrical work.

This is the 2nd time we have used Mr Electric-both times through Angie's list. We have worked with Ben And James. We had noticed the lights flickering a lot & a crackling in the electric panel. We could have just replaced the bad breaker, but knew we needed to upgrade at some point, The deal on Angie's list sold us on the upgrade. This visit went really well, even though it cost more than I anticipated. Sometimes the Angie's List deals are not as clearly defined as I would like them to be. Anyway, we had received a quote from Mr Electric at a previous visit for the upgrade. It was higher than the deal being offered. When James explained the cost breakdown of the deal, he was still able to come in lower than the first quote Mr Electric had given us. The job took longer than expected, due to the need for parts, obtaining a permit, & updating to code. James was extremely professional & patient, cleaned everything up as he went, gave us two options on where the electric panel could be placed, and explained everything to me. Again, I highly recommend Mr Electric.

Ben was prompt and very pleasant. He seemed to work quickly and efficiently. We understood what he was doing as he went along and he made us aware of prices ad he went along. The next day, we felt that one of the chandelier lights was not straight....the owner/manager came out the same day to make the adjustment. When Ben was putting up the chandelier we were discussing other tasks so I definitely feel I distracted him and that distraction was the cause of the one light not being straight. I definitely would call upon this electrician and Ben or other employees again!

The previous fixture had not been wired correctly, and there some other problems. The weather was frigid, but he persevered. He got the job done despite the problems. The light is working beautifully.

The scheduling was great but there was miscommunication in that they didn't show up when they said they were going to be there. They scheduled him for one day when ny son had it scheduled for a different day. They did come out at the end of the scheduled day; my son had taken the day off. Overall, my son was pleased with the work.

It was excellent. They were here on time and professional. They took care of 4 issues, including running wiring through my crawl space for my new stove.

The electrician arrived right on time, evaluated what I wanted done, gave me a quote (I had the coupon 55 dollars for 250 worth of service, so the work required an additional 70 dollars) and then did a very professional job. It was done quickly and looks and works great. I would certainly use them again.

I purchased two Big Deals, one for recessed lights, and one for electrical work. My house is dark and had yucky 70s fixtures and a few things I wanted to have fixed. It was the easiest process ever. I purchased the deal on Monday - they called Tuesday, the guys were here Wednesday am - during a holiday week! They were very nice, explained the prices and how much above the deal it would cost - I expected this since my list was so long. There were no shady hidden fees. Everything was done in a quality manner, and even with cutting the holes for the recessed lights, cleaned up such that you wouldn't know they were here. Absolutely recommend Mr. Electric.

The service was good. They were knowledgeable. They knew what they were doing and they seemed reasonable in price. They were efficient with my time which I appreciated. There was an additional charge since I had some additional work that needed to be done for the safety code. They presented all that to me and the price for that seemed reasonable with the actual work so I went ahead and did that.

The four recessed lights are great. The lights were installed in the bottom level of our house (which is a split level--partially underground). The room was very dark before the lights were installed. We had an unexpected expense when a wiring issue was discovered and had to be addressed before the project could be completed. The workers were knowledgeable and corrected the issue. Although we spent more than we expected for this Big Deal, the lighting makes that room much more usable than it was previously.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out very well. The price was right. They were quick and efficient. They were pleasant men. They got the job done quickly and neatly. There was an additional $50 because they had to put in more support because they were replacing a regular light fixture with a ceiling fan. The price was reasonable.

The service was great! I needed an outlet installed behind a tv. They did all work, checked our home and gave suggestions for electrical upgrades. Several estimates were written for work that I will be getting done in the near future.
