I had received quotes from several roofers. Most of which just wanted to add a second set of shingles to the existing layer. Dan Fisher had built a pole building for me about 3 years ago (another good experience). I called Dan and asked if he'd be interested in replacing my roof, at the time I didn't know he did this kind of work. As it turns out Dan and his crew do it all! He looked at the job, made measurements and quoted me a price lower than most, and that included removing the old shingles, installing new architectural shingles, rain gutters and downspouts. Dan was onsite to supervise when the roofing materials showed up. They started the job the following Monday at 7am. Dan uses a motorized dumpster which gets really close to the building to collect the old shingles and such, this keeps cleanup to a minimum. Within a 4 day period the new roof was on. As we were discussing the gutters I expressed some concerns about the rear of the building, and the fact there were no downspouts in this area. Water always seemed to be dripping in one corner in particular. Dan suggested we install an underground drainage system and add the downspouts as needed. $800 later the drain was in, downspouts hooked up and functioning nicely. The following week we experienced a torrential rainfall. I went into my attic and discovered a small leak at the chimney. I called Dan, left a message and he came over that weekend and fixed the problem.
