We worked with designer Jane. She was so nice and patient. We met several times while finalizing the design and she revised the design many times to meet our satisfaction. She also came on site multiple times in hot weather to measure the space. The space looked great after the installation work. We liked how we made the best use of the space. The only complaint is that when we got closer to the installation day, there was no communication of what time the workers might show up. We called and left a voice mail the day before, but didn't hear back. On the day of installation, we got a text message around 6am saying the workers would arrive around 7am. We of course missed the text message and were still asleep when the workers showed up. I am sharing this because they did a great job otherwise and hope they can work on this small detail to improve customer experience. Overall, I highly recommend them to my friends and will choose to work with them again.

Fantastic! Every employee was wonderful to deal with! All were timely, friendly, and professional and went out of their way to ensure I was happy with their work, from the original estimate and outline to the final installation. The owner even stopped by to check on the work and introduce himself during the installation process. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future. I love my new closets!!!!!

I have nothing but high praise for Tom and his staff. Jane, his designer, did a wonderful job in working with me on exactly what my needs were and had great ideas for improving the layout and function of the space. My laundry room was especially tough due to the small space and a diagonal wall. I am more than pleased!

I contacted Tom's after reading the reviews on Angie's and the BBB, I am not disappointed! Called to set-up an appointment and Laura returned my call within a day. Kate arrived on-time, a few days later on our scheduled day, to measure. She is very professional yet personable. Kate made a few suggestions regarding the shelves, poles, shoe shelves, etc. GREAT!! Kate emailed the design the same day and I received the contract and hard copies of the designs from Laura within days. Tom and team arrived about 2 weeks later to install the closets. They were professional, thorough, neat & completed all clean-up. Closet's By Tom offers discounts. Nice people, family owned, great price.

Moving here from Virginia, this house is bigger, but lacked a linen closet that the prior house had. I called three companies to provide a solution. All three were feasible, but I settled on TOM, which was the least costly provider. It began with setting-up an appointment for a consultation. A designer arrived as scheduled & I explained the problem. She had her tape measure & laptop, which were used to devise a plan. After measuring, she presented a plan & price. She also showed me the color options for the shelving & metal drawer handles, so I picked the options I wanted. With that, she was able to produce a price estimate. Later that night I contacted her to request a tweak to the design. She replied the next day & I decided to use their services. A few days later I received an e-mail correspondence with a contract & request for 50% up-front. I signed it & remitted the payment & was contacted shortly thereafter the set-up an installation date. Having done that, all I needed to do was empty the closet. The installer, Tom, hit some traffic snags & was a tad late, but he's about 30ish miles from where I live. He arrived & began the work, along with an assistant. He promptly removed the existing shelf, which I'll have installed elsewhere in the house. They set-up a saw outside & cut the material to size. It went rather quick as they assembled two hanging racks as I requested & the remaining shelving from floor to ceiling. It took maybe 3 hours, 4 at most. Tom explained that the drawers I ordered were not sent to him by their vendor, so he'd need to return. Also he didn't have the tie & belt hangers I ordered. No big deal as it was 95% complete. They weren't going to charge the remaining balance until after the missing pieces were able to be installed. In maybe two weeks they called & we arranged a time for finishing the work. t's all complete & serving the intended purpose. It wasn't the nicest-looking structure of the three I solicited, but it's in a bedroom closet that no guests will see anyway, so it doesn't need to be eye-popping. All it has to be is practical, which it is.

Excellent design for the space I had. Quality of cabinets was exceptional for the price, and price very competitive with other bids. Tom's a great guy who did a meticulous install.

Great service! I emailed them that I would like an in home consultation and Jane had gotten back to me within two days. We set up an appointment for that next week, and she measured and showed me designs right then and here at my house! It was great to design them together. She took my ideas, and tried to make them work to the best possibility, but of course she knew what she was talking about, and made them even better! She had stayed about 90 minutes designing them, and it was a wonderful experience. We were able to get an install date for the next week, and Tom the owner came with another guy to install them and were so professional. We had just gotten our floors refinished and they were so caring and respectful of that. They laid down drop clothes, took their shoes off every time they came in and went out (which was a lot!), and cleaned up after themselves! My new closets have so much more space and shelving, I absolutely love them! This is the best money I have spent in a long time! I would highly recommend Tom Ferris custom closets to anyone!

Tom and Laura are a pleasure to work with and I would work with them again. I contacted 2 companies to have competing bids for the design and install of closets for the new house. Laura listened to our ideas and also provided suggestions that improved our ideas. Laura provided designs and was professional during our follow-up discussions to tweak the designs. Tom istalled the closets over a 2 day period and did a great job. The quality of the product for the cost is very nice.

Laura who i do believe is a owner came out and gave me an estimate and options. She was very friendly. Emailed me the estimate and gave me option of the install date. They installed the closet in one day. Very happy with thecloset. And i actually got another estimate from them recentlyfor a reach incloset. Very impressed and happy with them. Highly recommend them!!

Very good experience. Laura came to our new house during construction and gave us ideas for master closet layout, incorporating all the things we told her we wanted in the closet. We also wanted a customized kitchen pantry with slide-out shelves - not something that is standard, but Laura & Tom designed the closet to our specs and it turned out great. Installation was on time and done quite professionally. They are a joy to work with and I recommend them to anyone looking for a top notch closet at a reasonable price for a customized look.

The Ferri's did an excellent job from start to finish. The wife, whose name I cannot recollect, came to our house and measured our closets and then immediately developed a design plan for each of our girls' closets. She showed several different options and made adjustments on the computer as we talked. She also provided a reasonable quote at the visit. Two weeks later, her husband Tom came and installed all of the shelving units and pieces within a few short hours. He was quick, efficent and quite pleasant. there were no complications, and the closets are much better utilized and keep everything better organized and hold a lot more clothing and toys than previously. We have been very pleased and would consider using them again. Unfortunately she told me they don't do garage fixtures.

The Ferri's are great to work with. They went out of their way to accomodate our schedules (and were very gracious when we had to change appoinments) and were a pleasure to work with. The finished product is fantastic. I would highly recommend using this company, as I would certainly use them again in the future.

Working with Tom and his wife was a pleasant experience from start to finish. We wanted to replace flimsy wire shelving in our walk-in closet and talked to several companies before settling on this one. The main reason we picked this company was because they were the easiest to work with in terms of design. Tom's wife is the designer and she did it on a laptop, using design software, in the comfort of our home. She listened carefully to our needs and made suggestions that improved our original design and we were able to see the design immediately. We continued to tinker with the design after it had been finalized and she and Tom integrated our changes, made after we'd signed the contract, without any additional cost or complaints. Tom worked quickly and efficiently to install the closets and they are wonderful. In addition to good quality workmanship and value for the dollar, the other thing that impressed me about Tom was his honesty and respect for the craft. He made sure to point out some manufacturing damage he'd discovered in one of the shelving units, which we would never have noticed, and scheduled time to come back out and repair it. The cost for this project was very reasonable and worth every penny not just for the durable and beautiful closets, but for the complete ease of the process!

Excellent. I was so happy with my walk-in closet, that we had them do two more! The quality of his closets is very, very good, especially for the money. I had looked elsewhere to buy first and selected Tom Ferris' for the price. I was very pleased with my choice. He was very professional and did a great job. He also cleaned everything up when he left, and you could never tell that any work was done. My dog kept running in and out of the room as he was working, and he and his helper did not mind at all! The design process was very easy and impressive. I've dealt with both him and his wife for my closets, and was amazed at how smoothly it went. They came to my house, measured the closets, then started coming up with different designs for me to pick from. They even emailed them to me so that my husband (who was out of town at the time) was able to look at them and give his thoughts/opinions. I was also very happy with how accommodating they were to our schedules and can't wait to do our next one.

I had to call him twice to receive an appointment (the first time his wife said that he or she would call me back, which he/she didn't), which took place within a few days of the second time that I called. However, I never received the plans or a follow-up phone call. I'm reluctant to pursue it since I don't think I should be chasing after a businessman for his work, and two other closet companies sent us plans within a few days of our appointment.
