"BS company. Offers a free inspection and all you get is an estimate of repairs. I am selling a home. Buyer wanted an inspection. He didn’t want to pay anything so he called Bakers. Crawlspace was bone dry after 3 days of rain. Instead of a report saying that, I get a list of recommendations. Addition of a moisture mitigation system. There is already a working system in the space. Remove the insulation under the floors. Yeah. Expose all the water piping to freezing temperatures. Insulate the walls of the crawlspace. So, you want to remove good insulation and add it to the walls in an unheated space. I wanted an inspection not a sales pitch. Worthless company. I should sue if the realty deal falls through due to this"

"Rich is very personable. He puts himself out there. He completed the task of putting a n outside spigot in the back of the house sooner than I expected. As he was doing the yearly maintenance on the 25 year old oil burner, he came up and got me to show me that the unit needed to be condemned. My daughter and I discussed beforehand that when we would need a new heating unit we would go with natural gas. Rich was walking us through the process. He is very well informed. The best thing about Rich is he shows that he cares about people. I am 71 years old and have a knee replacement that is less than a year old. I also have poor balance. "I hired Highlander to install a channel drain in front of garage to keep it from getting water in it. The guy showed up with his 16 year old son and dug the trench and laid the pipe very shallowly and left a large open hole in front of my driveway, that was one issue. The second issue was there was no slope to to the pipe. It is straight so the water is not actually draining. The third issue was they cemented the grates onto the the channel drain when they are supposed to be removable so you can clean it. They did correct that and the hole near the driveway they patched with stone, but it is still not pitched properly and the concrete was cracking almost immediately after drying, I asked for the salesman to come back and look at it and asked him if it looked professional, because it didn?t to me or my stepfather who does concrete for a living, and his response was that it did. Well, less than an a year and grates are popping up because the concrete is completely cracked."
