 + -1 moreJim Hilgert met with us to discuss the complete renovation of our old kitchen writing down everything that we wanted done. He came up with a detailed estimate of the cost and time of the Reno. He explained all the procedures of the construction in laymens terms and assured us that as homeowners we would most likely want to change our minds here and there and that he would work with us to the best of his ability. Jim was able to guide us through picking out materials for our new kitchen and answering some questions we had along the way. The crew members showed up on time , we're very courteous and reliable. Their work was professional and they cleaned up their work site at the end of each day. Even though having a kitchen renovation can be daunting, they made our time with out a working kitchen bearable and we really appreciated all they did to make things easier for us. We are quite pleased with our beautiful new kitchen and would definitely recommend J H Contracting for all your construction needs! Jim is a highly experienced contractor and greatly impressed us with the high quality work. We will definitely be having Jim and his crew renovating our master bathroom next!

 + 8 moreWe had no issues with this company, whcih is why we had them back over and over again. So far they have completed 5 seperate projects for us and we have been very happy with each one: a. Expanding the length of the house to give us a large laundry room, 2 large bedrooms and a walk-in closet b. Adding a large entrance to the from of the house c. Updating and enlarging our kitchen d. Adding a deck to the front of the house e. Replacing all deck boards and railings on a large back deck whie even making one section larger They will do all future work for us.
Description of Work: We first had them do an addition to where they made our house longer, adding size to 2 bedrooms, converting a small bedroom to a laundry room and adding a walk-in closet. The next addition they did for us was to add a 16 x 8 entrance to our house with tile floor, bay window with a window seat and a large closet with double doors and storage above. We later had them renovate our kitchen with tile floor, granite countertop and they added additional floor and wall cabinet to the opposite side of the kitched when there once as a laundry closet. Most recently they converted our front walkway to an 8 x 32 deck with vinyl rainings in September and then in December they replaced all of the deck boards on our back deck (which is very large) and replaced all of the railing with vinyl railings
