Garrety Glass - Betterliving Sunrooms

We recently hired Garrety Glass to transform our screened-in porch into a three-season room. Jeff, our consultant, gave us expert advice in suggesting a four-way-track system of windows. Along the way, Aimee kept us up-to-date on the ordering and delivery of the product. The final installation was done by Andy and Colt, two very meticulous and dependable workers. Being former educators, we are pleased to award a grade of A-plus to the entire team at Garrety Glass, Inc.

Garretty Glass did an outstanding job installing our bow window. The gentlemen were friendly, explained what they would be doing, and cleaned up after themselves. The removal and install of our window was efficient and looks AMAZING. Colin was our installer. I recommend Garetty Glass for its care, workmanship and best pricing.

Scott & Mike were very professional, friendly, and competent. They answered all of my questions and reviewed everything once the install was complete. The awning install looks awesome and works great!

Great workmanship

Garrett Glass did an outstanding job installing the new 4 track window and putting in a knee wall with glass to open up our screen in porch. We can now use out porch all year long and keep out the bad weather. The installer was very professional and did a great job to make sure the project was completed and look like part of the original screen in porch. Colt Eppley did a great job. Will recommended Garrett Glass if you want to get some window/porch project done at your home. Great service and great price.

We were most impressed with the work and professionalism of both Josh and Scott. They worked as a team, answering all of our questions while maintaining efficiency in their job. We are delighted with the look of our awning and the added usefulness of the deck it covers. It would be a pleasure to have this team back again for any future installation. We must admit that we enjoyed this morning's installation of our awning due to the attitude, knowledge, and friendliness of Josh and Scott! The electrician, Scott also did a dynamite job!

The retractable awning Garrity Glass installed was both beautiful and functional. I love the color choices that were available. The awning material and the mechanisms that support it are sturdy and easy on the eyes. It was a pleasure to work with the salesman, Dan Gingerich. He was very knowledgable and responsive to my questions. The awning arrived when promised and was installed by truly professional and courteous installers. Totally impressed with every staff person from Garrety. I was impressed that only two guys, Kevin and Dalton, did the actual construction. They arrived each day at or before the time that they said that they would. This was after they had to drive more than an hour to get to my home. The two of them delivered and unloaded all of the heavy lumber, cement, hardware, and tools for the platform construction. Six days later they delivered and unloaded the wall and roof framing, windows, and roof. Every day they cleaned debris from the work and sunroom areas and put tools and supplies away. They were very knowledgeable and clearly explained what the work plans were. They patiently and clearly provided answers to all questions that I had. On the first day, I was impressed that the two of them alone, each with digging bars and post-hole diggers, no machine tools, manually dug thesix 30" deep x 18" diameter post holes in my clay and rock soil. The second day was equally impressive as they came early again with a jack hammer power tool to remove the existing cement stoop porch. Each day the two of them alone progressed quickly on construction. Framing the 300 square-foot platform base (perfectly level), placing, securing, and blocking each 2x10 joist, cutting, laying, and caulking the foam board, and laying in the R-30 insulation, cutting, and securing the Advantech flooring. Their progress and efficiency continued as they cut out the 16"-centers roof trusses, attached the ledger board with two lag bolts into each truss as required by code, cut back the house shingles and attached the sunroom roofing and wall framing. The flashing, caulking, window installation, wrapping, fascia and gutter installation, and other details completed their perfect construction. Their precision and attention to detail shows completely in the final result. The sunroom is better than I expected. I love it. Everyone that sees it is impressed.

Construction of our sun porch was fantastic. Efficient and excellent work. Would definitely utilize them again in anything that we would like to have done. Our sun porch is beautiful. Arrived on the day they scheduled us for and worked in 18 degree weather to construct our porch. Gold stars for them.

The Garrety Team completed a highly customized shower project with ease (other companies couldn't/wouldn't do it). Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. Great company!

We recently had a retractable patio awning installed. The crew of Alika, Scott, and Dalton were very professional. They arrived at the scheduled time and went right to work. There install was absolutely fabulous. My wife and I were amazed at there professionalism and the way they kept the work area clean. When they were finished they made sure my wife and I were comfortable with the operation of the controls before they left. Clean up of the work area was spotless. Jeff Miller was our salesman. Jeff was on time with his appointments. He makes the decision very easy due to his professionalism and product knowledge. Michelle in the office kept us up to date with the order status and scheduling. All in all we cannot be more pleased with Garrety and will hire them for any future projects we may have.

Our new sunroom is impressive, beautiful craftsmanship, amazing attention to detail, replacing an old sunroom. All the windows were wiped clean before they left as well as the ceiling. The windows slide effortlessly. We had a gutter issue and they came up with a creative idea to manage the water. Our neighbors are stopping to see it. We chose the windows floor to ceiling and you can see the ornamental grass through it, a beautiful look. The installers were friendly and easy to talk with. We love it! Highly recommended! A++

Excellent and professional sales and installation. Jordan was extremely helpful with the sale and Colin and the team did a great job on the install.

They work hard and keep at it, even in all the heat we had the week they installed the windows. They cleaned up after themselves. The windows are of good quality at a good price. We are very satisfied.
