Plan was good. Not all plants made it. They didn't have interest in regular maintenance so we had to choose someone else.

We have solicited quotations from 6 contractors/professionals from Angie?s List and received proposals from five of the six. All six visited our home and have viewed our backyard. Providers were initially selected based upon previous Angie?s List A ratings in our area (15017). Quality/safety is of upmost importance and was a major influence in our decision. We needed to be comfortable with the construction process, materials, design, professionalism of provider, etc. while ensuring we were getting a competitive cost. Scope of Work: We appreciated everyone?s ideas on how to best layout our patio. Although we were not finalized on dimensions, type of pavers/materials, landscaping and layout, below were the minimums we included as part of this project. These are the things we will be moving forward with as part of the project at a minimum and how we analyzed the proposals of each professional. Paver patio: - Under our deck (approximate dimensions of 20? x 10?) - Lawn area (20?x10? minimum) - Paver walkway from driveway, around our deck steps to patio - Fire Pit (could be round or square) - Sitting wall around half of fire pit The cost component was broken out into a cost per square foot to install the patio as each professional quoted different dimensions ranging from 500 ? 985 square feet. All pavers quoted were similar in price as we checked with the manufacturer of the pavers (a majority of the providers quoted the same style and company of paver anyway) The fire pit and sitting wall was added in as part of the total cost analysis as separate elements.
Description of Work: Provider did not provide a quote and did not send any correspondence after their initial visit to our home.

Description of Work: I first contracted with Growing Seasons to replace my front yard grass which had been damaged due to construction and due to had seasonal changes. I was provided with an estimate and the service was provided. However, the grass never grew properly. I made multiple attempts to contact Justin to address the issues; however, Justin never responded to my inquiries. Instead, this past summer, I spent hundreds of dollars and numerous hours of time redoing the job myself. Unfortunately, I had already paid Justin thousands of dollars for the same job. I also contracted with Growing Seasons for lawn maintainence. Although the company was prompt on a weekly basis, during the hot, dry months of the summer, the lawn did not need to be mowed. Despite this, my lawn was mowed and I was charged weekly. I also contracted with Growing Seasons to mulch my beds. The job was adequate, however, it was messy. They use a machine that blows the mulch which causes the mulch to get on the side of the house and covers my termite system. I had to clean both the house and uncover the termite traps for service. Since this was the second year that I had used Growing Seasons to mulch my yard, i had requested that both of the above issues be addressed during their work. My request was ignored. Overall, due to the lack of responsiveness to issues that have arisen during my patronage of Growing Seasons, I would NOT recommend this company.

Response from Growing Seasons
I was so sorry to hear the disappointment from the customer. However from the time she wrote this post, we have not worked for her in over a year. The fall of 2011 was the last time we performed any services on her property. Regarding her over seeding we provided her with instructions on watering the lawn. Her irrigation system was more than adequate to supply her watering needs when turned on. We responded quickly to the issue with the mulch. We also applied extra grass seed to the lawn areas that did not come in from the reseeding. We respond quickly to any problems a customer may have to make sure they are pleased with the work. The customer did not bring these issues to our attention until 6 weeks after the work was completed. After the 2011 season, Growing Seasons did not offer Ms. Etzel a 2012 contract renewal for services on her property. We continue to work with all of her surrounding neighbors on both sides of her house and properties across the street. They are all happy with our work and references can be provided upon request.

Very well...no issues
Description of Work: My yard needed extensive work: two trees died and needed removed; mulch; enormous amount of hedge triming; a nearly acre of hill side weed treated and then weed-whacked to the ground. Justin and Growing seasons laid out their plan and executed it to a tee. They where there when they said they would be and worked diligently and finishing the job per the discussions we had. Even whent there was a slight confusion over a pine, they came the very next day to trim and shape the "bulb type plant"
