Description of Work: I called Jansen in the morning for a quote to remove a 12" Sycamore Maple and remove a 6 to 7" dia. limb on a 85' tall black locust. Tom Jansen was very responsive and was at the property that afternoon. He did not think the limb on the locust needed to be removed and only quoted me the Sycamore Maple. His price was $375 to cut the tree flush with the ground and remove all debris. He was extremely responsive and great to talk to. I had another opinion to remove the limb which I decided to go with. I did not use his service but found his prices and responsiveness to be great and highly recommend him.

Description of Work: A representative came within an hour of our phone call. He was very personable and knowledgeable, and gave a good written estimate for elevating a huge maple tree in our yard. The job was done quickly and professionally. Cleanup was excellent. There was no damage to the grass at all. The price was a little lower than other companies. Real pros!

They said they would call to schedule a definite day as soon as possible, and they did this in two days. Then they came the next day. They got all the dead branches and cleaned up after themselves very well. I was asked to leave a check for them the next day. And a courteous man arrived to collect it.
Description of Work: Removed a large dead limb that was endangering the house. Pruned the rest of the tree. The tree is a large, aging Norwegian maple.

 + -1 moreVery good. They arrived within twenty minutes of my accepting the estimate. They finished all the work except the stump removal within three hours, including a very good clean-up of all the debris. I thought the price was very reasonable, given the amount of work to be done.
Description of Work: Two large trees were trimmed, one large tree was removed, and one small tree was removed. The small tree was resting on some wires in our backyard. I had originally wanted one of the large trees removed due to concerns of it being unsafe, and Mr. Jansen suggested keeping it after pruning.
