Chris and the team are true artisans. They are not cheap but if you want genuine, quality masonry work done on your home, they are the team for you. Chris communicates very clearly and often and the guys on site are also super engaging and nice to have around! .

The team from StoneCraft LLC did an incredible job restoring our 40 foot tall chimney, pouring a new concrete crown and installing stone veneer and new flashing. The team was professional and quick, going from scaffolding to completion and cleanup in two weeks. The cleanup was so thorough that other than the gorgeous new chimney, you would never even know they had been there. Very, very impressed with the professionalism, workmanship, and communication throughout the process.

StoneCraft was hired to reface the front steps of my home which had degraded due to poor initial construction and years of abuse with rock salt by the previous owner. As removal of the stone facia occurred, Chris's team quickly realized that the interior structure of the stair case had also severely degraded also. Chris immediately communicated the findings and StoneCraft's plan to ensure 100% satisfaction with the integrity and appearance of their work. There would be an upcharge to the unforeseen work, but this was to be expected considering the extra hours of labor and materials. From the time of initial quote, StoneCraft followed through on their word and commitment to quality of work, not to mention that the work was started and completed ahead of schedule. This team does not cut corners and has a well thought out vision for the completed product they are providing. Well Done !

We had hired another Masonary (I can’t even call it a company). Which destroyed the foundaion of the steps. We then hired Stone Craft to perform a miracle, and that’s exactly what they did. Stone Craft staff’s were amazing . They were so professional, gifted with their Masonary skills , so polite and they treated my house like if it was their house. They took care of my property like if I was a family member. I highly ,highly recommend Stone Craft Co. we are so delighted with the work that was performed to our home. The work quality was excellent, done with highest standard of excellence in professional courtesy diligence in performing the work, and the jobsite was cleaned-up each evening after work was performed.

Kudos to Stonecraft. We thought the workers that came to our home were just terrific. We were kept informed of every possible issue as the job moved forward. We arrived at a solution to every minor bump in the road, which is inevitable when working on a house that is 60 years old. All of the workers were pleasant and professional. We really couldn't have been happier with the entire job. A rather odd twist of fate put us together with Stonecraft, and we felt very lucky to have found them.

This is the second time I have used Stone Craft. The first time was for installing flashing around my chimney after I had a new roof put on. The second time was for pointing and waterproofing. Both jobs were done effectively and professionally. Stonecraft is a excellent company.

I hired Chris Beckhorn, Stonecraft in 2018 to locate and repair leaks in firebox and basement wall from the fireplace, so that I could make my fireplace functional again. Beckhorn decided that I needed new crown, caps, & repointing. Following payment of approx. $3000.00 for the above, the leaks remained unchanged!!! Beckhorn then revealed a "water test" that he could do to isolate the leaks.....my immediate question was " why wasn't I made aware of this in the beginning"? Had I been properly informed and educated when we first met, I would have requested that the "water test" be performed FIRST, so that the leaks could be fixed. Beckhorn continued to deny his role in not fixing what I hired him to fix. I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Director Mary Mahoney, and the Attorney General's Office, Agent Ric LeBlanc, with ample documentation. Following those formal complaints, which will follow him for several years, Beckhorn decided to perform a "water test" in August 2019, stating to both Agencies, myself and the roofer, Bill Mahon , who Beckhorn blamed for creating a faulty roof, he would "prove" it was the responsibility of Mr.Mahon. The day of the test this past summer 2019, I had several witnesses including, myself, a mason, and Bill Mahon himself. The test revealed that the roofer was NOT to blame for the leak/leaks. Beckhorn would not permit a discussion of any kind with me about him making good on the leak repair, in fact, he insisted that I remove the complaints from both Agencies. I not only refused to remove the complaints, but contacted both Agents and re:reported Beckhorn filing additional complaints. Beckhorn is dishonest in his business management, and has no integrity. I urge every potential customer to heed this true account of my distasteful experience with Chris Beckhorn and please, contact both Agencies to hear what they have on file on Beckhorn which will remain there for several years.

Would not recommend StoneCraft because the company is not an authorized Jotul dealer. Would only recommend going to an authorized Jotul dealer. Yesterday had a Jotul wood insert installed and the stove is leaking.

First of all, I was immediately impressed with Chris’s professionalism on the phone. Chris was very detailed with gathering information to provide an estimate on the phone and was very accurate with his final quote. The installation team was prompt and worked very well together. I am so impressed by this company and am thrilled to have found them.

Outstanding work all around. The guys arrived on time and did exactly what was needed. Everything was addressed during and after the visit.

It was good. He had a crew and they did the work that had to be done. I mean there wasn't a lot of work to be done. It was more a matter of checking the chimney. We bought a house for my daughter. Before letting her use the wood stove I wanted to have the chimney checked. He did that and everything was fine. I liked that he was able to certify the chimney and said it was fine.

He is very thorough and he is very specific. There is parts of this he can't finish till all of the morter is cured so he is going to set up a date for around six or eight weeks to put a sealer on the stone. I went and saw three jobs he had already done before I hired him because this was such a big job. The others had nothing but good things to say about him.
