Talk about some great people. Had Joe do a sort of emergency job on Friday. The Cranberry water issue struck with a pin hole leak on my main supply line. While taking down ceiling tiles, I discovered the whole line had many green spots. He quickly fixed 20 feet of bad line with Pex lines and we are now back in business. Super nice and a great worker. Great price for the work with such short notice. Thanks, Reynolds Plumbing is on my list for all my plumbing needs!

We have had 2 recent opportunities to have the Reynolds Plumbing crew here for work. Two weeks ago to re-plumb a bad job done by the previous owner in the basement/laundry area. The second was yesterday to replace a 17 year old water heater that suddenly decided to spring a leak. This was the second and third time I had them do work for me. Extremely great quality and price. They don't normally do emergency work, but Lori was able to get me on the schedule and they installed a new heater within a few hours of calling. Price and quality of work beats any Home Depot or Lowe's job.

It went very well. They came out and did the work when they said they would and they did a great job. Lori was a big help in getting us set up. They had a change in their schedule and got the job done earlier than anticipated. The guys that came out were very professional and knowledgable. Have referred them to my neighbors and will probably be using them again in the future.

Called and was treated very good. Was told that they were booked up for a couple weeks with a couple big projects digging but if rain or bad weather happened and they couldn't dig they would come out that day. 4 days later that happened and I received a call that he could be onsite that afternoon. Showed up on time and finished work quickly. Very good and professional!

We had a big job to do and took a chance hiring a plumber through Angie's List, since we didn't know any. This was a great choice. My first contact was with Lori when I called. Pleasant and knowledgeable. Set up an appointment for Jay to come to our home and discuss what we wanted done. He arrived with Joe. My husband discussed the project and we set up the date for the work to be done. Arrived as was scheduled. Jay, Joe and Craig worked with us with changes and additions to the original plan. Never complaining. Some of the changes added to the project price but that was announced right up front. This job was to hook us up to the public sewer line that our borough installed a few years ago. We had a huge sump hole in our basement that took on the washing machine water and the utility tub water. And since there was no public sewer system in our area when we built, a sump pump was our only option to get water out of the basement. They jack hammered approx. 30 ft of basement floor and dug about a 20-25 ft ditch (approx. 6 ft deep) in our yard to run the gravity flow line. They rerouted a drain that came from the main floor kitchen and bath and added a trap to the basement floor drain. They closed off an additional drain that was set up for a future bathroom which will never be added. They removed and took with them our sump pump and a 3/4 inch thick, 4 ft x 3 ft (approx.) steel lid (seemed like 200 lbs) that covered the sump hole. This is another reason for the new sewer line. We are getting too old to lift this to change the sump pump. By the way this was all done with the guys going through our main floor to get to the basement as we have no outside entrance to the basement. Through all of this work they, all 3, were respectful of our home and us, pleasant to work with and a lot of fun. By the time they finished there was no debris left in the basement. Just a lot of dust which we knew to expect with all the jack hammering and digging they did. I would highly, highly recommend these people. You will never be sorry you did. I love Angie's List.

SINCE I ONLY NEEDED A STUCK WATER VALVE TURNED ON, I REALLY CAN'T GIVE A DETAILED REPORT ON WORK DONE. HAD I KNOWN I WOULD BE CHARGED $85.00 FOR A 3 SECOND JOB, I WOULD HAVE FIGURED OUT MORE WORK TO BE DONE. MY FAULT FOR NOT ASKING, BUT I FEEL THAT LORI SHOULD HAVE BEEN UP FRONT ABOUT THE PRICE JUST TO WALK IN THE DOOR. ALL OTHER SERVICE PEOPLE I HAVE DEALT WITH DID ADVISE AHEAD OF TIME. JUST A WORD TO THE WISE - ASK ABOUT PRICE BEFORE ALLOWING SOMEONE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE LIKE THIS. I DIDN'T ASK UP FRONT BECAUSE I FIGURED HOW MUCH COULD SOMEONE ACTUALLY CHARGE TO TURN A VALVE? I GUESS BEING MARRIED TO A HANDIYMAN FOR 50 YEARS WHO HELPED OTHERS FOR FREE HIS WHOLE LIFE HAS CLOUDED MY VIEW ON WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO OTHERS. I REALIZE A PROFESSIONAL HAS TO EARN A LIVING, BUT $85.00 TO TURN A VALVE IS TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE TO ME. I'VE LEARNED A GOOD LESSON.

I spoke with Jay's wife Lori who responded quickly and was able to fit me in the same day I called. She told me how much it would cost up front and recommended how I should prepare for the visit. Jay arrived in the time they said he'd be there, and did the work quickly and efficiently. He even provided some advice for other work I plan to have done to my kitchen. This is the second time I've used Reynold's and I've been very happy both times. I will definitely use again.

Needed to schedule this fairly big job a month in advance which I guess means they are in demand, Jay and crew completed all work in one day, which included backhoe trenching for gas line (90 ft), riser to the house and pipe to the furnace utility area. Also installed manifold for future expansion and pipe to gas fireplace. Cheerful crew got right to work, didn't waste any time, cleaned up after the job,, good workers would recommend this company to others.

I had a leak in my main water line. I did not know whether the leak was in the house under the cement slab in the basement or outside. I got three estimates: 1) Reynolds quoted ~$1600 to repair the water line 2) company 2 quoted $2500 to repair the water line 3) company 3 quoted ~$5000 to replace the water line Lori Reynolds prepared the written estimate and patiently answered all my questions. Jay Reynolds and his assistant came on Friday. They removed some plantings with a small backhoe and dug up the planting beds to locate the water line. Jay found the water line and also the leak in the water line outside the house. At this point, we adjusted the scope of the work to repair the water line with two couplings. Relocation of the water meter and internal plumbing was no longer required. At the end of the day, I ended up paying around $1400. This was less than originally estimated. I considered this fair because less work was performed. Jay and Lori are honest people. My water line is no longer leaking. They completed the job in one day as promised. I would use them again.

Mr. Reynolds arrived at approximately 2:30 which was within the 1-4pm window. He and his associate got right to work.to expose the leaking pipe. They found the problem right away and proceeded to replace the pipe. Both guys were very professional, personable and courteous. I also had the drain replaced with a toe-tap drain and had the old ugly caulking around the top edge of the bathtub replaced with new caulking. They were here 2 hours and cleaned up afterwards. I would use them again in a heartbeat and feel they provided a valuable service at a fair price. Thanks guys!!
Description of Work: He opened up the kitchen ceiling to expose the cause of a leak in my bathtub pipe, replaced the trap and piece of pipe and replaced the tub drain with a new tip-toe drain. He also removed the old caulking around the bathtub and replaced it with new caulking.

Yep, this will be a glowing review! The backstory is an key part... Early afternoon on a Wednesday our family was driving PAST our house on the way to run more errands. As we were driving down our street we were passed by two firetrucks with lights and sirens going and a couple of police cruisers. I commented that at least our home wasn't on fire! Well..... it WASN'T on fire, luckily! The UNlucky part was that the firetrucks and police HAD been at our house for a couple of hours due to a massive gas leak. The leak was fortunately not at the house but with the meter at the street. I must say that if there is a plus to this it was NOT being there when the craziness was happening; we arrived home to a single gas company truck and a "red tagged" house. "Red tagged" means that your gas has been shut off...completely. No heat, no hot water, no gas fireplace. And, yes, it went down into the twenty degrees that night. I'm glad that we hadn't put the electric blankets away for the season. It was a cold night with take out supper, no hot baths nor heat. The gas company came out to address the emergency, shut off the gas and deliver the homeowner the bad news. It was my responsibility to remedy the problem because the leak was right at the juncture of ownership of the gas meter and the gas lines. The rest was up to me. Very fortunately I remembered Angie's List. I looked up certified plumbers and found Reynold's. They had many very positive reviews including emergency call repairs. They were located close to me. (Wexford area) I phoned Reynold's and the call was promptly answered by Lori. She's the boss, the one who schedules, coordinates the work and adeptly negotiates the mine field of utility company regulations and inspections. She does this with a vast knowledge of the ins and outs of the mystery that is XYZ* Gas Company. *not the actual name of my gas company Lori was awesome!!! She was very polite, courteous and compassionate. She has quite a bit of knowledge of the plumbing industry and was able to easily explain what was going on and the steps needed to get our gas back up, connected and running. I have a unique circumstance at home here... our home is a renovated barn on a property that was divided into several residences. My meter is located about 200 or so feet from my home crossing one additional property and situated in my second neighbor's mulch bed. Jay Reynolds, who is the plumber and his assistant, Joe, arrived promptly the next morning bright and early. They were very courteous and professional and very kind. I realize that they were pulled away from a site and Jay assured me that it was common. They told me that it was ok, they do emergency calls frequently. They completed the work quickly and very neatly! I was thinking that I would need to clean up the neighbor's yard and mulch/flower bed but every single bit of dirt and mulch was cleaned up with no mess!! Besides the new pipe work you would never know that they were there! Whew! That was a relief and a pleasant surprise! As soon as their work was completed, the gas company was contacted right away to come out to inspect and "sign off" on the work done. The inspector from the gas company told me that the work was very very well done and he was happy to see such tidy and quality work! Nice compliment! I didn't expect THAT!! Jay completed the work quickly, with great quality and a fantastic attitude! Both Lori and Jay made me feel like they were there to help me and not just to make money. They never made me feel awkward about the bill and I was pleasantly surprised at the final cost considering the emergency response and the amount of hand digging and labor. Jay also took the time to come back up to the house to measure for an additional, non emergency plumbing project to prepare a bid. He had remembered that we spoke about it and took the initiative to gather the information about the project without me reminding him or asking again! What a nice company! I would highly recommend them and look forward to having them back out for something other than an emergency call!

we did write on invoice unable to open, (charged for a service call and tried to open sewer clog) gave him a cost to dig and find the problem. We did not to the second part of the job because he wanted to use the insurance company that he brought insurance through. The company would not let us do the job because we are not registered with them. I do not know why the water company was called.
