+ -1 moreSteve and Erik showed up on time, did an amazing job and cleaned up well. Steve asked me questions as the job went on to verify how I wanted to proceed. From previous discussions, Steve remembered we'd like to get our house sided and completed the gutter work with that in mind so additional money would not have to be spent when the time comes. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: We recently had our front gutters and downspouts replaced along with some rotted wood that had been holding the gutters.

+ -1 moreErik and Steve did a great job with each window. I have received many compliments on the design of the 'moulding' around each one. They took great concern with our satisfaction and letting us know the issues if any. They also prepped each one to accept the siding we will eventually do saving us time and money at that point. I was very impressed with the workmanship and design plan.
Description of Work: We recently had 20 windows wrapped in aluminum. The windows are about 2 years old. We have a 100 year old house with wooden siding and crown moulding and sills around each window. At the time of replacement, we simply caulked around the new windows. However, we wanted additional protection and knew we would eventually siding the house. Steve and Erik worked with me to come up with a design for the wrapping that would add the look of the moulding back to the window so we would not lose the character of the house.

+ 3 moreWe were very happy with the experience we had with Steve and North Hills Homeworks. He was brought in on our renovation based on a recommendation of a handyman we were working with. We were in the process of gutting and renovating all 12 rooms in our 100-year old house. He was very honest and friendly while doing the work. The jobs were well done and clean afterward. He went above and beyond several times while suggesting changes as well as asking for our opinions on several things. There was no question we asked that was too small. When the time comes to finish our basement and add our deck, we will be contacting Steve.
Description of Work: I have had North Hills Homeworks to my home for several projects: Framed and installed attic/ceiling stairs. Framed and installed linen closets in bathroom kneewalls. Installed additional handrail on cellar stairs and reinforced cellar stairs. Installed glass block windows in cellar. Reframed, resized, and installed replacement doors for bedrooms, closets, etc. Doors were purchased from Construction Junction and reworked to fit existing door frames to go with 100 year old home. Framed and installed doors to access storage created in kneewalls. Correct sqeaking wooden stairs to second floor. Removed existing Box Gutters. Framed and installed new roof. Installed new soffit and wrapped fascia boards with aluminum. Installed new gutters and downspot. Consulted with us on our future projects of finishing the cellar and adding a deck.
