Fantastic from the quoting process through the job. Lowest of three quotes I received and explained everything in detail. On the day of the scheduled work, all guys showed up on time as promised and completed their work quickly and professionally. Everything was cleaned up and ready to go when they left.

The front desk was very froendly, and I was seen quickly by the nurse. The experience was professional, the environment was clean, and a nice spa like environment, and yet gave me a safe sense of a medical environment.

We've had Kohl's to our house on two occasions -- once for a basic furnace and air-conditioner servicing, and once for furnace repair. The repair problem turned out to be just a few leaves stuck in the system, and was a quick and cheap fix. I also was in desperate need of a hard-to-find furnace filter after we had a smoke incident in our house over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and Kohl's made a special trip on that Saturday to meet me near my house to sell me two of the filters they had in stock. That was a life-saver. Overall very honest and professional. Recommended.

Technician arrived on time and was very helpful. He inserted a camera into the drain so we could see the condition of the pipes.

Technician was on time, checked the furnace at my house, He recommended that I replace a noisy draft inducer, and he ordered the parts and scheduled a new appointment. The new parts produced a marked improvement. The check at my daughters house required no additional repairs.

When they first came out, they brought heaters so that we would have heat. It was during that really cold period last year. They came a day or so later to do the work. They found and repaired 13 leaks in our heating system and insulated the pipes the best they could given the locations.

I waited several months to do this review- so as to use the unit for a period of time. The initial "salesman" spoke to my wife and I regarding his recommendation for our house in clear and practical terms. (such as, keeping our current furnace as he felt it had several years of service left, using a less expensive but more practical filter system). He answered our questions with understandable answers. The service crew arrived on the scheduled day- courteous, professional- and performed all the proposed work and additionally cleaned the furnace, changed and reconstructed the inflow and outflow ductwork to what they felt was best for the new humidifier and air filter. My wife was very pleased that they even cleaned up the furnace area afterwards! The AC unit and additional pieces have functioned with no issues. As expected, it is much more efficient than our old AC unit. The house cools more evenly. The entire heating and cooling of the house is more quiet and smoother functioning. The new unit is a mid-level Trane XR series. My wife and I would highly recommend Kohl's Heating for all heating and AC service.

Both times they came,quickly and within the time frame estimated. Very professional and knowledgeable. Had all parts at time of repair and no waiting. Has worked well since. I would definitely recommend and call again if needed.

Kevin came out and gave us an a price for the work and units. He explained the work to be done and the equipment. The installers arrived on time. This was a difficult installation due to the requirements we made and the age of our house. All work was done professionally and actually exceeded our expectations. The price was very reasonable and was exactly what was quoted. No surprises. We are very happy with the service and the quality of the product. Would not hesitate to use Kohl's again and highly recommend them.

The initial work went very smoothly. We were very pleased.

The evaluator and the installers were both punctual, professional and courteous. They did a Manual J furnace sizing and provided an estimate promptly. I found their price to be very competitive - one of the reasons seemed to be - they didnt insist on replacing my whole house air filter & humidifier (which were high end products already). Other furnace installers wanted to install new air filter and humidifier because "apparently they didnt fit their furnace". I may be wrong, but I thought it more likely, they didnt want to do any extra duct fitting than absolutely necessary. I communicated multiple times via phone and email asking numerous rounds of questions. They were responsive and answered all my questions (though with a lag of a day or so - so not really a problem). The installation went smoothly, and they signed me up for the Trane default warranty. They were offering 5 year and 10 year additional warranties for extra, but at this point I didnt get it. I still may get it later. Things have gone smoothly upto this point, but I have only used the blower for A/C so far. Now that winter is coming, I will be able to evaluate the installation and the Trane furnace once I start the heating.

It was early summer and my five-year old A/C unit (home warranty replacement) was no longer cooling. The rep from Kohl's came out and determined that I had a crack which had leaked refrigerant, most likely all of it. Because it used R134A, the cost would have been nearly $1000 just to fix and refill. I was concerned that further problems later would be even more expensive. Additionally, my furnace was original to the house and nearly 30 years old. The tech explained my options, including retrofitting my current furnace to work with a newer A/C. Ultimately, I decided that replacing everything was the most prudent choice. They gave me a price which seemed in line with my expectations based on research and did the job quickly and professionally. About a month later, my house seemed to be too humid (doorways swelling, etc.) and they came back out immediately to make adjustments.

Installed a Trane series XV95 100,000 BUT gas furnace fearuring two stage heating and variable air flow technology and installed a Trane series XL181 two stage 4 ton air conditioner. They moved the furnace back and set it in its proper location under main trunk line. They adapted warm and cold air returns lines to fit new location. Also installed Honeywell media filter to furnace. Moved my hot water tank and added expansion tank. New fancy Thermostat. Made lots of new duct work. I had house built 14 year ago and furnace and some of the duct work was put in wrong. Kohl"s know move about Heating and air condition than any one I called and I got prices form a lot of people. I would use them again in a heart beat. By using Angies List I also got $200 off also will get a $300 rebate from West Penn Power HVAC Program. Kohl's spent 3 days at my housee and what a great company they are. They were both excellent and did a great job! When they left my upstairs was already cooling down and the melted water in the attic was completely under control.

I don't remember working with a better company. They came out the day I called and took care of the matter quickly. My A/C went out, I thought it might need replaced. Turns out the capacitor was blown. The service tech Chevy was great. Explained everything and checked the whole system. When I do need to replace in the next couple years, I will be calling them. Great company to work with!

The people at Kohl's did a great job. We had received several bids for the project - Kohl's came in roughly in the middle for cost, but we were most comfortable with them overall (their proposed solution, their demeanor during their inspection in order to prepare a bid, etc...) They came out on the day and time we'd arranged, got things done on time, figured out good ways for handling problems (e.g. we didn't have 220 out in our garage, and they came up with a good and inexpensive way of getting 220 into our garage), and were very pleasant to work with (they were extremely patient with our tool-obsessed 3 year old who we tried to keep out from underfoot, but kept wandering back to watch them work). Bottom line, everything went off without a hitch and the price that was originally quoted. We were very pleased when it was all said and done.

They fixed it and they were good. Their cost was a little less than another company I've used. They were reasonably priced. The service call was $69 and the rest was for the part. It is working.
