I have never experienced such an unprofessional and unresponsive company as I have with Flamingo. I called the owner Paul over 15 times throughout the course of a couple months and he never returned a phone call. I wanted to touch base regarding the landscaping we were getting and it is clear he has our community on the bottom of his list. My neighbors and I frequently talk about how unprofessional he is by his lack of interest in helping us. Those neighbors who had him install last year when they moved in already have numerous dead trees and he doesn't get back to them either. The fact that this man is still in business is appalling and incredibly surprising to me. I imagine if he continues his business as he has with us, he certainly wont be in business for long. The interesting part is, we wanted to get him to bid on over $20,000 worth of landscaping for our property in addition to what was included in our package. Its his loss, we went with another landscaping company and would, at this point, never think to give him any more business. This is disheartening as almost all other subcontactors made extra money off of us doing side jobs, and we have paid everything in cash. Would have been a nice chunk of change for him had he just taken a couple minutes to return my call. The only reason I gave him a D is because he obviously heard my Voicemail regarding a machine left on our property for days and finally got it removed. We are still waiting for our grass to be planted in June....and we moved in in March. At this point I am happy his company missed out on our huge landscaping project. I do not recommend him at this point. When he finally gets around to installing our landscaping, I will re-review his actual work. It would be unfair of me to give a bad review of the actual work because i haven't seen it yet. But if his lack of responsiveness is any indication, I certainly am dreading what our yard will look like when all is said and done. I hope I am wrong.
