Cyrilla was unique with the bids in that they were the only company out of about six that really helped us with the design without charging extra fees. As a first-time homeowner, I appreciated the help. They did a lot of the work (digging, etc) by hand, so the rest of my yard did not get torn up by machines while they were here. They worked hard and were painstakingly precise in their work. Two issues came up during the job - a wire was cut by a shovel (bad placement by the home builder), and there was a clay pocket in the middle of where the patio was going. Mark, the project manager, was ON IT before we even brought it up. They had the electrician scheduled already for the next day to come out and fix the wire, and Mark himself caught the pocket of clay (we had no idea what we were looking at). He said over time, the patio would have sagged. So he had the guys dig it back out to reinforce the patio area. I would never have caught the clay pocket, and it would have saved them almost a day of work to just paver over it. But he did the right thing, because it was the right thing. That was impressive to me. Because of the tight patio space and the work we asked them to do, there were some intricate cuts that needed to be made in the pavers. They are made - and made impressively. The quality of the plants was amazing, and I've managed to not kill them yet, which is impressive. They even planted some of my mom's hostas for me, which I had staged to go in after they left. The two guys were super nice, even when my daughter wanted to hang out outside with them and watch and learn. We've had seven different contractors in our home doing various work over the past year, and Cyrilla's is the only one we would do business with again. They cleaned up every day, and when they cleaned up at the end of the job, it was like they were never here - except for their work. One guy even swept out my garage because some paver dust had gotten in there when I had left it open one day. They are busy, so you may have to wait to get on the schedule. But... they're worth it. Quality work that they obviously take pride in, even on what I'm sure was a relatively small job.
Description of Work: Had initial landscaping done in front yard for a new build. Had an 8x10 Holland paver patio installed, along with two mulch beds, two trees and other assorted plantings.
