Hire with Caution! This company installed 4 furnaces for me over the last 3 years in other rental properties I own. I recently purchase another property out of foreclosure and no one has lived there for several months if not at least a year. I knew the furnace was working since I did have the heat on but I wanted them to clean the furnace and check the AC unit as it felt like it wasn't cooling. I also waited after the remodel as I knew both would be dirty afterwards. They went to the property, gave them the code to enter so they could go on their own time as it was still vacant. The feedback from Betlyn was the furnace was cleaned, check and in working order. The AC on the other hand was out of freon and they recommended replacement due to the age of the AC unit. I spoke to the owner on the phone and he gave me a price to replace the furnace and said nothing else. I wanted to obtain another estimate for the AC replacement. When this company came to the property, they called and said the furnace is dirty and there is no air flow at all (see photo). I called Betlyn to find out why they didn't clean the furnace as that was what I paid to have them do. The owner was extremely rude, condescending and just down right disrespectful. He kept asking if I was going to have them replace the AC unit and said the furnace would be cleaned as that was part of the AC replacement price (but they never told me this originally). I asked what was my $110 payment for and he gave me some rude comment and made up story, he even told me the gas wasn't on (which it was as the heat was on). Then he kept asking if I was going to have them do the AC unit, I said I want my furnace cleaned first and then he hung up on me. The bottom-line is don't ever question their work then you will never have to worry about being hung up on. $110 down the drain!

My AC compressor didn't start so I called Betlyn. After 15 minutes of testing and checking, the technician just told me that I need a new compressor. And then he gave me a quote of $2,200 later. He also suggested me to replace the whole AC system for $3,500, because the $2,200 job won't come with warranty whereas the $3,500 job come with 5 years warranty. I told him that I would have to think about it. So he charged me $110 and left. I called some AC companies and tried to get the best quote for replacing the compressor. One company came back with $1,700 so I decided to go with them. They came and checked the system again. The technician said the compressor is good and he fixed up AC with new fan and breaker. The total cost was $267. He even said: " some other company will say you need a new compressor or new ac, but you really don't. That's why we always check it AGAIN before we putting in the new system."

He was recommended by another contractor that I used in the past. We also had them to replace the furnace in October, then we asked him to come back when we need to replace the water heater. They were very professional there were no problems at all, and they did the job. Very knowledgeable and informative about the products and I would use them again in the future if we needed to.

I bought my house 8 years ago. We needed a new furnace and A/C unit installed to replace an older unit. Paul came and provided a great estimate and overview of our needs. He took the time to explain our options and the install was done professional and clean. The job was done right and 8 years later I use this company for all my heating/a/c needs. They perform my yearly inspection and maintenance and have always been prompt.

The furnace now works fine. He was very punctual and professional. He was a very nice man and I would definitely call them again for service.

THEY HAD VERY CARING SERVICE. WHEN THE FURNACE BLEW ON A COLD MORNING, THEY WERE THERE BEFORE THE NIGHT GOT EVEN CHILLIER.

THEY ARRIVED WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF MY FURNACE BREAKING. THEY GAVE US DIFFERENT OPTIONS. VERY HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL.

ON TIME, EFFICIENT, AND GOOD PRICES. WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

ALTHOUGH I WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR INSTALLATION OF A REPLACEMENT FURNACE SIX YEARS AGO, I CANNOT SAY THEY WERE THE SAME QUALITY FOR CLEANING. WHEN THEY BROKE THE LINE TO THE HUMIDIFIER THEY JUST BENT IT BACK AND SOLDERED IT SHUT. THE WRITE-UP ON THE BILL THEY LEFT WAS 'HUMIDIFIER NOT WORKING'. WHEN THEY LEFT I WAS TOLD I COULD PICK UP A FILTER AT THEIR OFFICE, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE ONE ON THE TRUCK. UPON GOING TO THE OFFICE I WAS TOLD THERE WAS A $40 CHARGE. I PURCHASED A FILTER MYSELF FOR $12.
