I had an old-time antenna bracket removed from the side of my vintage brick home which left unsightly big holes in several bricks and I also had some crumbling & missing mortar issues. The mortar used when my house was built is not something you can easily buy in your local home center and finding bricks to match an 85-year old home is no easy task. Restoration Services cut out and removed the damaged bricks and replaced with new(old) bricks that matched perfectly as well as fixed the mortar with a mix that looks identical. I am pretty particular about the care of my home. I was really worried about the finished appearance as I did not want to end up with a repair that stuck out like a sore thumb, but they did a great job and I defy anyone to point out the areas that have been repaired!
Description of Work: Remove & replace several damaged bricks as well as repair & restore numerous mortar joints.

+ 0 moreDale kept me informed on the process throughout. My porch is V-shaped, so this was not an easy job. Both the ceiling and the flooring had to "line-up" and meet in the middle. If they did not meet, it would be obvious. Standing on the porch and looking at the floor and then the ceiling, the line on both is right-on! To do this carpentry work required someone with a high degree of skill. I am so glad I chose Restoration Services to do the work!! Dale and Charlie did an outstanding job!! (I have since had other workers in the construction field comment on the level of skill necessary to do this work.) I will definitely use Restoration Services in the future.
Description of Work: Dale restored my front porch (1854 Victorian) - both the floor decking and the ceiling. He replaced the completely rotted wood ceiling with Southern Pine bead-board, the flooring with mahagony planks, and painted both.
