Instead of checking for refrigerant leak, the owner, Albert Sobolosky looked in the sewer drain! He did not check for refrigerant leak. Only looked in sewer drain! Still can't believe he didn't check for refrigerant leak! He even said he doesn't know what to do!

Good price but more important, excellent service. I emailed several times throughout the process and always received a return phone call in under an hour. Installation was quick, they cleaned up thoroughly and I received all paperwork in a prompt manner. He even filled out all rebate forms and had them ready for us to sign and mail in. Amazing service. Highly recommend.

All work was done professionally. The installers were polite and cleaned up after they were finished. They arrived on time and they answered all of my questions. There was an issue after they left but they were here at 8 am the next day to correct the problem. The AC is working great and Albert's even sent me the rebate forms to be mailed to Duquesne Light. Best service ever and I recommend them highly.

Professional workmanship & cleanup

The original heat pump was unable to keep up the cooling with rising temperatures. Albert's added some additional refrigerant to hold me until they could install the new equipment the following week. They arrived on schedule, installed all of the new equipment (16 seer, 2.5 ton Trane heat pump and and air handler ) in one day. They removed all of the old equipment and cleaned up after they had completed the new installation. They also installed a new thermostat which allows me to control my heat pump via my cell phone wherever I'm at in the world. The employees were very courteous, and answered all of my questions before they left. The new equipment has been working flawlessly for the past 6 weeks and my electric bill is lower than it was before they did the installation.

Have s maintenance agreement with Alberts. Brad came out and inspected my system. He noticed that the original installer (another company) did not wire the system to operate as a two stage. Brad fixed the problem at no additional charge and now I will get the energy efficiency benefits at no additional charge. Good mechanics are hard to find and Brad is a keeper. I've been dealing with Alberts for over two years and they don't disappoint.

They also come out in the middle of the night if you need them too. It turned out great. They came when they said. They tell you up front how much it will cost and they stick to it. It is holding up fine an came up online just like they said it would. They come right when you need them.

The other companies I talked to suggested that I use a system called a "split" which is like a heat pump. They work very well, unless temps dip very low. It's not a problem with the equipment, they're just not capable. I was not wiling ot take that chance. Albert's was the only company that suggested I go with another unit that would be able to handle any temperature. They were also the lowest price out of all the estimates I received. It was a no brainer.

I called because a AC fan motor was not working and I was having issues with condensation overflow. Technician was there on time and was very nice but did not have a clue what he was doing. He got shocked 2 to 3 x. While there another tech came but they just stood outside talking for about 20 min. The original tech returned to the unit and told me that there was nothing he could do that my problem was with Duquesne. Light and my ground to the house was bad but the real bad news was he would have to charge me for a service call. He did and I called Duquesne Light. They promptly came and tested their equipment and it was not a Duq light equipment. The nice Duquesne Light Technician asked if he would like me to look at my issue and he did. He quickly fixed it with connecting a neutral wire to a bus bar and everything works just fine. He did not charge me and really did not need to help me out with my AC Unit. I am about to pay the $95.00 to Alberts but it gets me that nobody every even bothered to follow up and see if my situation was fixed. Who knows maybe they could have gotten more business with a simple follow up call. Overall the technical service was sub par and there is no follow up service. They will come promptly when you call...I guess it is so they can charge for the and quot;service calland quot; I will not use Alberts again

They were great. We were desperately calling all sorts of places and everyone was booked for weeks. It was super hot and i was 8 months pregnant, we really appreciated Albert's help us out. We are now considering them for our new a/c unit and furnace. Albert's offered to deduct our 2013 repair bill from the cost of our new air conditioner.

My music studio (private lessons, infant and toddler group classes) corporate offices took over an older house that had fallen into decline. Albert's has provided the furnace servicing for at least 25 years, remembers the original owner of the house AND the actual install of the furnaces. Every time I have needed their services, Albert calls me personally! This time, the hot water heater seemed to have exploded, and within 10 minutes he called to discuss the problem, best solutions, and sent a crew the same to fix the situation. Now that's REAL customer service!

Alberts responded within 2 hours. The serviceman replaced a switch and voila I had heat. I was a happy person. Serviceman was pleasant and explained what needed to be replaced. I would recommend them.

They came out within 2 hours of my phone call. They had replaced a few parts previously, but it hadn't worked, so they recommended that I replace the whole furnace so I could get the warranty. I did so and they credited the amount for the parts that hadn't work. They were here on time. The project took 3 hours, just like they said it would. They made sure they didn't leave my floors dirty and they cleaned up well.

Also performed yearly maintenance on furnace and serviced a faulty humidifier. There was some initial mix-up with the date that the installation and service was to be performed, however this was a minor thing. The quality of the work and the reasonable price is deserving of mention, and makes me a repeat customer with Albert's.

My first mistake was to wait until October to have my old boiler serviced. my second mistake was not to get competitive bids (due to the lack of time before winter). I went with Albert's based on reviews here, and neighbor recommendations. The company recommended the combination boiler, and it sounded great to have heat and hot water combined, and when I asked technician if they had good experiences, he stated that they had. This was not true as they had never installed this unit before. I was not informed of this until after they started installing it. The entire process was a nightmare, a two day install is what I was told, it took more than a week to install it, and a month to get it programmed correctly. They left early on the first day, stating they needed parts, this was the first indication that they didn't know what they were doing, the hardware install took an additional 4 business days (not including the weekend), leaving me without heat on some fairly cold days. The company was not cooperative in the reprogramming at all, insisting that it was a good thing that the unit ran continuously, and it would not use a lot of gas. By continuously, I mean it would run for 20-30 minutes straight, then take a 5-10 minute break and start again. the gas bill for that period was measurably higher than it should have been. Running like this also meant that my house temp was quite a bit higher than I preferred to keep it as I had no control over the temperature. It wasn't until another client complained of the same issue that they finally got a technician from the manufacturer to reprogram the unit. When they were reprogramming, they had said that they would fix a leak I had discovered, they did not. Regarding the service, the company was not punctual, there was more than one occasion in which they said someone would be at the house that day - and they didn't show until the following day, or said they would return a call, but did not., and did not inform me that they were not coming. I had to leave the house unlocked, and my dog confined for no reason. The company also did not provide any training on the unit, just the manuals. They may be a great company at servicing older units, but they need a lot more training before they recommend units they've never installed before.

We had a routine maintenance plan with them. They would come out and clean and service our unit. They've always been extremely courteous, professional and in terms of price they're very competitive with price. We've never ever had an issue with them. They've always been very good in following up and following through. As far we haven't had any problems with them. They're pretty good. We're not really located too close to their offices but they still come out on their way.

He appeared within minutes of his estimated arrival time. He then introduced himself and gave a run down of what he was going to do. Which i was impressed by. Performed the work and then gave a complete run down of what he found. Granted it was a clean bill of health. But it was nice to hear the rundown of what all he checked. The detail to leaving things as he found them was there as well. Over all impressed i was.

The service tech was great and an honest guy. Would definitely recommend these guys. We ended up using them again to service our air conditioner in May 2013 and were once again pleased. A five star company.

They replaced the heater and did a great job. My only complaint is that after they removed a pipe that went out to our old AC unit, that left a hole in the wall that leads straight to the outside, which we discovered well after they left. A heads up would have been nice.
