I reached out to SavATree tree service about the possibility of getting a maple tree trimmed. The company showed up at my house on September 11 2018 to look at my maple tree. They recommended that the tree did not have to be trimmed but I should get the tree treated for lantern flies. I replied I would be interested in getting the lantern fly treatment done in the fall. SavATree sent me an estimate of how much the treatment would cost. I never responded to their email regarding the estimate and never accepted their estimate. I ended all communication with the company. May 2 2019, SavATree showed up at house while I was at work to perform the lantern fly treatment on my tree. I never received prior notice or confirmation from SavATree that they were going to do this treatment to my tree. Upon calling the company and complaining about not receiving prior notice or confirmation the company representative stated that they did not feel the need to confirm with me due to me stating I would be interested in getting this treatment done prior to knowing what the cost of this treatment would be. Also, the company representative stated that 70% of their clients they do not give prior notice or confirmation to when they are going to perform the work and stated that a costumer must request prior notice or confirmation. I explained to the company that I was interested in getting the treatment done in the fall but I never authorized the work after finding out what their estimated cost would be. Also, I stated to the company that I have no way of verifying that they actually did the work at my house due to not being present or not being notified a head of time

Dave provided a very personalized set of recommendations, and clearly knows a lot about lawn service. They really stood out from the other company I spoke to, where the sales people were very aggressive and not knowledgeable at all. Their pricing was fair and competitive. They came out sooner than originally scheduled and did a thorough job, cleaning up nicely as well. I look forward to working with on a seasonal basis and to having a beautiful lawn!

I don't know if I have a good comparison on price. There is one time and I got a bill, and I said the guy didn't come out because I knew I was here. They checked and they said but the GPS shows he was in your cul d'sac. I said I am positive, come out and look. The guy came out and looked and called the guy and said decribe the house. The guy said the house with the trees on the right hand side of the driveway, and that was the house 2 doors away. I give them credit for that. I would use them again in the future.

They saved me a lot of money. I thought they were going to have to cut the whole tree down, or a whole lot more, and they only had to do a few branches.

They're a little expensive, but they're good. It took one day.

The job went exactly as planned. They trimmed the required branches and honored the original estimate.

MattZ came to do a thorough inspection of the front yard and detailed a list of work to be done on the bushes. He was very specific and the crew did a fine job. Happy with work!

Provider was punctual, provided helpful advice regarding decision to either remove tree or prune.

They are all well informed. They will walk through the yard with me and discuss what needs to be done or area I have questions about. They aren't pushy. They are very helpful, courteous, and professional.

Aeriated lawn in Fall and Spring. All services with organic products. Went well - brought thickness to the lawn, filled in bare spots, and reduced mold and clumpy grass build-up. |Did not eliminate soya grass which turns brown in the winter.

It went well. They were prompt and timely.

OK, but had to come back to finish one tree. Also billing errors

We started off with a mini-snafu which caused a slight delay in scheduling, but that just was due to a lack of communication within the company. After that, everything went smoothly. The price of the service was very reasonable and I would use this company again.

I bought one of their Big Deals. The arborist came to the house and we walked the property and talked about the work that needed to be done. I have some rather uncommon trees and bushes and he knew them all - I was impressed with his knowledge. He had forgotten that I had purchased a big deal and the initial price he quoted did not take the Deal into account. Once reminded, he was more accommodating. The work was delayed a bit due to bad weather. The work was done just as I had hoped. I have some trees that need to be trimmed and I will probably use them for the job.

Savatree informed me by phone that they did not service my area. They said that they would submit my refund to Angies list

I already reviewed this and I'm supposed to get a starbucks card!

it did not go well.

I had to request a refund because AFTER buying the deal and my cc being charged I was told (after numerous phone calls and voice mails) I was "out of the area"- This should not have happened- The area that it covered should have been mentioned in the deal- It was a waste of my time.

They arrived early and used a big machine to grind a large tree stump. They were careful to avoid close objects, but ground the stump and the spines that ran outside the initial atump. All was done quickly and left very clean. He did a fantastic job!

I gave this entity C's because their customer service is below average. I paid a bill by credit card, my card was charged and they had no record of it. My first e-mail about the issue went unanswered. After reaching a local rep., I was told she would need to contact accounting directly. That took two weeks, and I received a response only after I followed up. Their website is unfriendly - the payment engine is limited and awkward and also you cannot view your account information.

My experience to them was fine. They were on time, they removed the trees and cleaned it up; they did a great job!

It was good. The payment was a little messed up but it all worked out in the end. We only wanted to spend the amount that we did with the big deal and we didn’t want to go over that but then they recommended a lot of services that we couldn’t afford. We asked them to do what could they do for that amount and they agreed to do that but we kept getting emails saying that we owed them more money. I replied saying ‘no we didn’t’ and they said sorry, they rechecked the paper work and it was all cleared up. Then they did it again and we went through the same thing again but they didn’t push it any more than that. The guys that came out were nice and everything. It was all good expect the billing thing in the end. The price was good because of the big deal.
