I'm very happy with the job by Rhino. Joe was a pleasure to work with. His pricing was fair, and he was very knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and responsive throughout the process, without any BS. The work was completed on schedule by his crew in one day, and they cleaned up nicely afterwards. Looking at the job after it was completed, I can see that the workmanship was excellent. I wish it was this easy to work with all contractors. I would highly recommend Rhino for any roofing or exterior project. [UPDATE 5/7/2021] One of the reasons that I went with Rhino is that they guarantee their workmanship and materials for 10 years. About a week ago, we had a severe storm with very high winds (80+ MPH gusts). During the storm, a shingle blew off the roof. I called Rhino the next day, and Joe assured me that they would be out promptly to assess. As promised, they were on site within a few days to replace the shingle, and to inspect the roof for any further signs of problems. Not all contractors stand behind their work like Rhino does, so I wanted to amend this review to share this experience.

I had water coming in through the cement slab under my addition. I called Rhino, and Joe came out the next day and gave me an estimate. He came in under budget and fixed the problem in one day - no more water. Joe is very professional and checked back a few days later to make sure everything worked out properly.

My wife and I were looking to have our basement waterproofed in preparation for finishing our basement. We had several companies come out to give us estimates, but Joe from Rhino stood out from the pack. He was able to identify the issues we were having and provide workable solutions for us in within our budget. We had a French Drain installed along the 2 problematic walls of our basement as well as a new sump pump and pit. Outside, they also dug out our basement windows to allow for better draining and installed an exterior French Drain as well as improved our downspout drainage. Joe and DJ were fantastic with getting the work done quickly and with minimal interruption to our lives and house. They even left the basement in seeming cleaner and better shape than when they started. We’d highly recommend them if you’re in need of work done on your basement.

Rhino did a fine job

Joe was honest, professional and dependable. He made us feel at ease with the awful experience we had with another basement company that we had to fire from the job. His crew came on time, they were professional, careful and clean. We hired Rhino to correct and complete our mirror drainage system and install a sump pump in our basement. They completed the work promptly and efficiently. We no longer have water pressure issues. We have already recommended Rhino to a few people.

Rhino Waterproofing provided the full range of services needed to change our basement from a "ruin" with puddles (to be avoided) into a nice, clean part of our home. This included a trench drain system with sump pump and exterior drainage, as well as cleaning 1930's-era interior stone foundation walls, mold treating the walls, adding a vapor barrier before applying two layers of hard coat with metal screening reinforcement. They mold treated the entire basement after the cement work was completed. They even added a drainage sill in front of the exterior basement entrance. This wasn't in the contract- they just thought it should be done. We had some breaks in the parjing on the interior stairwell from some plumbing work that done previously. Rhino patched that too. They did the work more quickly and cleanly than I imagined was possible. Joe Austin impressed me as a sincere person, his crew is very contentious. I gladly recommend him, he earned it!

Joe and his team at Rhino Waterproofing Solutions were very professional and friendly. I have already recommended them to multiple people at work and in my family. We met Joe’s team at the Home and Garden Show in Oaks, PA and scheduled them to come out that week. I believe they came out on a Tuesday and we were able to get started on the project on Friday. Such a fast turnaround! We had some water coming into our basement from walls and our sump pump never turned on in the 3 years we owned the home. We had many companies come out for quotes and I feel that Rhino was the most honest and fair of them all. We told them the problems we had and they helped us figure out what we needed and didn’t oversell us on anything. In fact, after we had agreed to one price, Joe had sent the pictures to the Head Contractor that would be working on our basement and he came back and told us that the one option we were going with was overkill and they were able to do the same job for less with a slightly different product. When the team arrived to work on the house everyone was on time. It even began to snow right before the scheduled arrival time and we were nervous it was going to be rescheduled, but everyone showed up. They packed up the stuff in the basement in tight piles so that it wouldn’t be in their way and surrounded the areas with plastic to help eliminate dust and dirt getting on everything as much as they could. The team was very efficient and everything was completed in one day. We haven’t had any water in the basement and the sump pump has turned on. It is actually so quiet that I wasn’t sure it was working so I went ahead and added some water to see if it turned on and sure enough it did. Thank you to Joe and his team at Rhino. I am very happy with everything and I can’t wait to finish the basement. You will all be sure to get an invite to the party when it is done. We need to break in the future bar!

Joe was excellent! They came in and installed a sump pump and French drain. On time, professional, & pricing was far. Came in banged it out and were clean(as clean as you can be with this kind of work). Definitely hire this guys, you will be in good hands.
