Chris Potter, the senior tech for Renewal by Andersen, performed all the work required in a professional and timely manner. He corrected everything I requested and the door looks and works beautifully. Chris is a pleasant guy and understands what you're saying. He's a valuable asset to this company. I would highly recommend Chris Potter.

We have decided not to go with this company. Its true the product is probalby higher quality than other windows, but the entire sales engagement process was sketchy. Also, they have not registered with Better Business Bureau and have a low ranking.

Quite badly. We ordered in July 07 with installation promised by early Sept. In Sept they said they couldn't make the size we need, and would have to special order the lower French-style windows from another company and sorry, no maint. free exterior available. In late Oct they brought the window with the wrong pane design in the arch, wrong hardware (brass instead of nickel), no screen, and the the whole thing was too big for the opening in our house. They managed to jam the window in and seal it up, but the French opening window was about 1 1/2 inches too tall so it didn't clear our floor to open. They bolted it shut and put some insulation in to tie us over but there was a huge draft blowing into my toddler's bedroom until today, 1/24/08. Today they arrived with the right hardware, a screen, the tools to make the door fit & function, and a new arch. STILL the wrong panes, but we'll have to accept this one. By the way the arch I ordered was from their catalog, not special design.

They wouldn't meet with just me, my wife had to be there. No flexibility on this. I declined to do business with them for this reason.

I called Renewal by Andersen to inquire about replacement windows. A representative came to the house. While he was measuring the existing windows he realized during our conversation that I am married. He was quite insistent that he needed to speak with both my wife and me at the same time for an hour to discuss the window options. She was at work at the time, and she often works nights and weekends. I assured the salesman that I could discuss the windows with her when she got home late at night, but he didn't believe I could do so accurately. I asked for a very rough range of what the windows would cost and he was reluctant even to give me that, although he did think between $800 and $900 per window depending on what we chose. For several weeks we received on average two telephone calls per week from the company's marketing call center wanting to reschedule a time with the salesman.

The windows are fabulous, and look wonderful in our old stone home. We had considered several window companies and chose Renewal for its custom work, durability, and high-end look. That said, the windows were hideously expensive, and we found our salesperson to be very pushy.
