Description of Work: Danielle is superb! Between a 60-hr/week job and caring for my blind father for 7 yrs, my part of the house had deteriorated into hopeless chaos. I couldn't even get started on cleaning things up: if I started on some part of the mess, I'd start thinking about 30 other things that needed organizing just as much and I'd just hang and get nothing done... Danielle has been a life-saver, and I'm slowly starting to make progress that holds from session to session. Btw, the $3000. was roughly the total amount for many 4-hr sessions over the past yr.

One of the benefits of hiring an organizer (which I had never done before) is that it helps with making the commitment to getting organized. And Danielle works extremely hard; we get a lot done each session. The hardest part of organizing for me is deciding what to throw out. Danielle is helpful with ideas about how to dispose of financial records safely (shredding) and how to donate unwanted items. I have thrown out/donated a ton of stuff and have no regrets.
Description of Work: I hired Danielle to help with organizing my home, beginning with my home office in Spring 2011. She has come for about six visits, each for four hours, each costing $240. The office is completely revamped--it is organized beautifully and has a peaceful uncluttered feel, and I have been able to maintain the order. Danielle is frugal with supplies etc and in fact I did not need to purchase anything new in order to transform the office. We are now working on other areas in the house. Danielle has excellent ideas about how to organize stuff in existing containers, furniture, etc. I am hoping to work with her about once a month until I think the house is in shape. (I would work faster, but I have a full time job and a family.) I think that Danielle's charge of $60 per hour is very reasonable given her skill, experience, and energy.

I was a bit nervous, and had put off organizing all that junk mail, old paperwork, bills, etc. and didn't want to go through it all. Danielle came and immediately I felt comfortable with her. She emails promptly, and its important to HER to feel like she makes a dent in any clutter problems you may have. She develops a plan for future, and makes recommendations. (the shredder was a great one).
Description of Work: Danielle has come out twice. She is professional, and punctual. She is careful and considerate of your needs. She helped me to set up a system for paperwork and set up a system of paperwork that I can work with, in my workspace. I will continue to use her to help me with the rest of my home!

I met Danielle a month ago when she arrived at my office to assist me with organizing and de-cluttering my workspace. Although I have a good size office with plenty of storage in it, there was no real method established in terms of how to handle the dozens of documents I receive each day. I always hated the fact that my desk was usually a mess, with piles of paper 6 inches or more high. While other admins in my office would help me go through stuff occasionally and assist me with some purging of files, they were never able to help me set up an appropriate "way" to work. Danielle was very understanding and patient, but most of all, she knew what to do and how to approach it. We spent 2 half day sessions going through everything in my office and organizing it. Now my office looks great, but by using the very simple approach that Danielle set up for me, it stays looking great every week. The process went better than I expected and I found Danielle great to work with. I look forward to a quarterly "touch-up" visit from Danielle just to ensure that I stay on track. Also, I will be scheduling Danielle in the coming months to work with me and my family at our home, which also needs an organizing "tune-up". To sum it up: Good Person, Quality Work, a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend Danielle

First contact via email, prompt and professional. Second contact via voicemail, very professional and appealing. Walked in door, went over contract, coat and started working. Terrific attitude, pleasant, but all work. Wonderful results in 12 hours. She is gifted. I loved working with Danielle. Have 2 more appointments set up and we'll do more. She is extremely professional and focused. We started with my clothing; I needed a lot of help in that area. She was worth every penny - I feel lighter already! I plan to use Danielle again in the next several weeks/months until I reach my goal of freeing myself of the burden of too much stuff. She has not only made my life easier; she has restored my self-confidence in my ability to manage my household on my own. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Description of Work: I hired Danielle to help me clean out my attic in preparation for having a new roof put on and to assist in divesting myself of 25 years worth of personal possessions. We go through my possessions, she helps me evaluate my need for them, she does all the physical work and then she organized what is left over.

From the time that I first called Danielle to inquire about her services, she was very helpful. She asked a lot of questions, to ensure that she understood our needs and concerns. Based on our initial phone call, she suggested that we start the house organization project with the home office. From the onset of the project, she was very methodical and kept us focused, and more importantly, she was very sensitive. She offered helpful suggestions for both organization and room design, and gave us homework to ensure the room stays organized. We will definitely be hiring Danielle again for the next organizing project.

The project of re-creating my house is going very well.
Description of Work: Danielle is helping me get my house ready to show for moving. However, after working with her I actually might stay here! She shows up exactly on schedule and is ready to get to work right away. As you might imagine, going through piles of personal paper requires someone who is very trustworthy. Danielle is very professional in the way that she approaches sensitive documents. She has rearranaged two complete rooms with me so far. We are still working together as my house is a work in progress. Her ideas of organization are very creative and she integrates feng shui into her plans. From the very smallest object to the entire room, Danielle has a place for everything and everything in its place.

She is very punctual and efficient. She carries her own label maker, and markers. She has lots of good suggestions to help you create a more positive working environment .Many of my tasks revolve around my phone and my computer, while others revolve around people. I now have separate areas for administering vaccinations to staff, and a separate area for my computer work. She has really helped me to cut down on my clutter in the office.
Description of Work: She comes to my office and helps me organize files, decide which journals to keep and which to discard, how my furniture should be placed, etc. She hung up a valence for me so my office would be more attractive. She charges $50.00 an hour, and she is flexible as to scheduling appointments.

Danielle is very professional. She is extremely sensitive to her clients' feelings and needs. She is very fast and efficient. She outshines all the other organizers I've used in the past. She is very good at actually teaching you organization skills as well. I feel like she is an angel sent from Heaven.
Description of Work: Danielle O'Brien is a professional organizer. She helps organize my home. She does offices as well. She'll even do basements and attics. She really is excellent. She works a minimum of 4 hours for $50 an hour. After seeing her work I know she is worth double that.
