Combination Lock & Key

There's no need to look at other locksmiths. They were cost effective, capable and honest. Bob re-keyed 8 doors in our house. 10 minutes after Bob had left, he drove back to the house to give me $15.00 back because he realized he mentioned he would throw in an additional part for free. I was surprised both by the relatively low cost and honesty of the company.

I have a old door and I was looking to repair the existing lock or install a newly purchased lever set.  Upon speaking to Combination Lock, they felt as though the new lever set wouldn't be possible to install on the door but offered to come out and consult on options.  Two gentlemen arrived and confirmed that the new level set couldn't be used on my (very) old door.  However. they were able to repair my existing lever and ensure that the door locks properly.  I'm very happy with the service. 

I called a few days prior and set up an approximate appointment time. Howard provided an overview of the process and price estimate. On the day of the appointment Porter arrived on time and exceeded my expectations. He took time to explain the work and provided very helpful tips. I couldn't be happier with the service.

A previous locksmith had informed me that it would be impossible to repair my old mortise lock, and that it would cost at least $800 dollars to do. The previous guy also told me that my only other option was to leave the mortise lock broken, and pay him about $200-$300 to install new deadbolts. 
To get a second opinion, I used Angie's list to find someone, and I found Bob and his partner (i just blanked on his name). They were able to repair the mortise lock AND keyed all my locks for a single key for far less, and i was able to avoid drilling more holes in my beautiful old door.
The moral of the story is I came to Bob and asked him to perform a $300 service, and unlike most contractors he told me that my request was not necessary and that I could get a better result for $120! 
I mean who does that these days? He literally told me I could pay him less for more!
These guys are honest and trustworthy! I will never need to call another locksmith. These are my guys from now on!

I called the number, and Robert answered the phone himself.  He said he'd be over asap, and was there immediately.  When he came to our home, he was fast, professional, did his job, and left.  During the visit he answered all our questions and worked quickly.  I'd hire him over and over again.

I had used Combination Lock about 15 years ago and decided I wanted to change the locks .   I called Combination Lock and Bob Porter responded the same day as scheduled.

He rekeyed the five locks , made new keys and repaired the latch on a sliding door.  He has significant experience and expertise

and is very efficient.  It is a sincere pleasure to use Combination Lock and I most strongly recommend them .

Called 9:30 a.m. and 2 very professional and obviously experienced men were at my house 2 hours later.  In addition to my immediate concern of a stuck front entrance door latch, they were able to re-key 2 locks so that we could use the same key and make 2 others more serviceable so that we have better security and more convenience.  They had all the tools and parts with them on the truck.  I really couldn't be more pleased with the promptness and quality of the service.  For the amount of time they spent and the amount of work plus new locks, the price was very reasonable.

He showed up promptly. My security door lock would not open leaving us locked inside our house. He managed to get the lock to finally open and recommended we not use the key to lock it for the remainder of the winter. Did not need to replace lock.

I have been pleased with them. They were very confident and did a good job. They were careful, neat and fixed the problem. They were not too expensive as well. They were fairly priced because I have experienced worse.

First of all, I didn't realize that getting a locksmith quickly, especially on the same day, was such a difficult request. I had called the most A-rated Angies List company (which I had used once before and was pleased with) but they told me the soonest they could get to me was in 4 days. I preferred them because they had a coupon, but my tenants had a front door that wouldn't lock, in a not so great area, so 4 days wasn't an option.
    Combination Lock and Key was next down on the list, so I gave them a call.  They were super busy that day, too, but offered to come within several hours if I could be somewhat flexible about exact time.  Within 3 hours, as promised, the most anal and perfectionistic locksmith I've ever met showed up and gave me way more than my $75 worth to fix the lock, file and adjust the door jam, which had the door closing improperly and caused it to not catch completely, and got the lock working beautifully.  Way more service than I expected, pleasant attitude, extremely knowledgeable.  Two big thumbs up, these guys are my new locksmith.  They don't have a coupon, but their price is so cheap, it ends up costing less than others with a coupon, and he was most certainly not in a rush.   Done!

This was last August, so I can' true ember the cost, but it was reasonable.  They did a great job in a jiffy, were very professional and not only replaced the broken lock but also adjusted the strike key so there would be less stress on the lock in the future.

The appointment was set by the owner at the same time that I called and since I didn't live there, I asked them to call me when they were on their way. The Locksmith called and was close by so I gave him the combination to the lockbox on the home(it was empty). He opened it and was almost done by the time I got there! Very pleasant to deal with. Cleaned up after themselves.
I will continue to use them.

Porter was great he made sure everything worked well and he worked hard to save me from buying new locks when the keys I had did not work properly.

I was able to make an apt quickly.  The serviceman came on time, was courteous and had the lock installed quickly. I feel the price was very reasonable. I would definitely use their service again.

I called a few companies listed on Angie's List, and Combination Lock & Key gave me the best quote for rekeying so I decided to use them. They were professional, arrived on time, and I was very happy with the service they provided.

These guys were great. I called to schedule an appointment for a later date and they said it would be done same day. called back about an hour after initial call and said they were 20 min out. They arrived promptly and rekeyed 2 dead bolts and 2 door knobs and switched out a double key deadbolt for one with a turn knob on inside. Guys were very professional and job took less than an hour. If I every need a lock smith again I will be calling Combination Lock & Key

The owner is an older gentleman, very pleasant and professional, he did his job efficiently and happily. This was by far my best experience dealing with any locksmith ever.

I called and spoke with Porter and explained that I needed my locks changed due to a dispute with a contractor not from Angie's list. Mr Porter was very pleasant and was able to come out immediately, on the same day the call was placed, to service me due to the emergency. He quoted a fair price and came promptly to the home. He ran into a problem with locks on a security door which he was able to remedy without leaving. I would recommend this company and will use them again in the future.
