Description of Work: Replaced all hardware associated with garage door,including cables,pulleys and rollers.Made all necessary adjustments.The call stemmed from the fact that the cable had broken.I asked if it would be possible to come out the next day and Mr.Conkling was able to fit me in.Mike,the service tech. was great and I could not be more satisfied.

Description of Work: They were prompt and were able to get to my house in less than an hour. They fixed the Garage door and helped program the remote in my car so I don't have to carry the dedicated garage door remote.

Description of Work: The estimate was very high so I got a second estimate and the other estimate was 2/3 less. The Conkling estimate told me that they would have to replace the entire door and all the hardware. They also said the door opening was a custom size so it would be more money. The second estimate said they could simply replace the bottom panel of the door. They said it was a standard size.

Description of Work: My garage door opener stopped working. I called Conklin, and he had me check the plug-in-connection, which was loose. I was able to tie the plug to the outlet so it would not fall out, and that solved the problem (for now). Conklin's did not charge me for the advice. They could have done a service call and made some money, but they simply solved the problem for me over the telephone.
