Installed new tub and fixtures and replaced wallboard and tile.Very professional, prompt. did all that was asked of them . Cleaned up after work was completed! VERY satisfied!

We had a previous bathroom remodel done by another big company in the area and although the job was completed, the communication was really poor and the professionalism of the many, many different people in and out of our house was very offputting. When looking to remodel our basement (a very large job) we were anxious to find a reliable contractor, but boy did we find one! There were many issues with the basement that arose, but Don and Brian handled them with creativity for a complete resolution to all problems. I was very concerned about ripping into an old house basement, but Banko and Son really helped me stay at ease. They were very clear and detailed with their communication and we always knew what the plan was moving forward. No large decisions were made without our explicit consent. Don is a real artist when it comes to making things work. He has great design ideas and shares them willingly without making you feel it is the only way to go. The job took about 3 months during the holiday season, but they were always respectful and considerate for our schedule and clear with theirs. While we were out of town, they even looked in on our cats. We were so excited to have the basement finished, but it was really hard to see the guys go, they were really a joy to have around. Our once cold and dark basement is now a wonderfully bright media room and workout/bedroom. I cannot recommend Banko and Son highly enough. The only concern I have writing this review is that they will be too busy by the time we need them again!

After a few phone calls and information gathering on my part, Don Banko and his son came out to our house to look at a complicated situation in our basement that would require some structural framing work. Don came up with a new approach for a fix that others had overlooked. He was knowledgeable, prompt, reliable in his communication and he showed ingenuity and integrity in all he said and did. We had conversations with him over a period of a few weeks. We didn't use him because we didn't receive the insurance settlement we were expecting to use for payment.

He tried to help with the problem and was very very responsive. He spent a lot of time with me and made several suggestions on what I might do and suggested a specialist. He was very honest and censer.

When I do have the work done, I will definitely call him. If anybody shows up when they are supposed to and they are on time, I am impressed. He seemed like a really honest person. He gave me a really fair estimate. I really felt comfortable with him. I told him exaclty how I wanted it and he gave me a very good estimate. He has been in business for about 30 years. If he can stay in business in that small of a community for 30 years, he must be doing something right. It is just him and his son. I got him on the first phone call and he did call and follow up to make sure that we were still on for the night he was going to come down. So that would definitely be an A because he worked with my time. He knew his profession and he was well addressed. He seemed to know the product.

I have and will continue to reccomend Banko and Son. They do high quality work at reasonable prices. They do what they say when they say they are going to do it. They are non-drinkers and non-drug users (which is HUGE in this field)!
