We consulted with Robert Horne Contracting to remodel a very dated bathroom for us. From the start, they were very communicative from when he'd have the estimate (we ended up getting that earlier than anticipated) to picking out fixtures to start date. As with any old house, there were some challenges with hidden things which added to the tasks needing to be performed. He told us about those as they came up and gave us the very reasonable estimates, if the issue required extra work. He was able to remove the build-out above the sink and rework the plumbing to vastly open up that space giving the appearance of a bigger, roomier room. We did a walk-through and got written confirmation of our punch list items. He gave us a date of when he'd be out to complete the odds and ends and was there promptly on the given day. We are very satisfied with the work he performed and especially with the communication. We never once wondered when he'd be there or what was going on with products being delivered, etc. We are very happy customers!

I am very happy with my completed projects. Robert Horne Contracting provided excellent service and great communication. He kept me informed of all progress and ensured he did exactly what I wanted. Any issues found after the removing of old stuff suggestions were presented and immediately resolved. The porch was a complete remodel and turned out wow!!!! Even better than I envisioned!!! Bob kept me informed of all his comings and goings which was a nice touch, to know daily what to expect. I was very happy with his work and his customer service. We hired Robert Thorne to do a floor to ceiling stair railing in our split level home. Communication was always so prompt and everyone we came in contact with was so polite and professional. I was very disappointed with the experience I had with this company. I had my front door and sub-flooring replaced. Not sure why but now there is a gap between the floor and baseboard. The front door screen was too small so pieces of wood had to be permanently affixed, it looks okay but the measurements should have been taken correctly before purchasing the screen door. The side door that I wanted replaced was patched, and still leaks, and a left opening screen door was put on with our right opening door. For some unknown reason, rotten wood frames were reused and left not repaired and I had to call to have them fixed to look halfway decent. I was given an option to pay extra to have them paint the walls they damaged or do it myself, I chose to do all the necessary paint repairs myself. I definitely give a 0 for professionalism. The amount of profanity used was unacceptable. At one point I thought the arguing was going to turn physical.

The bathroom was repair was great. Very well done. This was the second time that I have had Corne Contracting repair a bathroom in my home. They do great job, from start to finish. I would have Mr. Horne company do any other work in home again..

Bob and his partner were great! Very personable and do a beautiful job. Bob kept in contact about every step of the project and kept it close to the budget I was looking for. It was a small bathroom remodel and he turned into a very functional and charming bathroom. He even used the design ideas I had to bring it to life and even kept in contact after to make sure everything was working well still. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Robert Horne Contracting for most any kind of work. We had him install ceramic tile in our kitchen and he did a great job! The tile was installed properly and looks great. Bob was friendly, sociable, cooperative and helpful throughout the installation process, which was completed in a timely manner. On his first visit, he patiently listened to our requests, explained ceramic tile and its installation, and offered helpful suggestions, then submitted an estimate of the job within days. Bob thoroughly cleaned up the area both while he was working, and when he was finished. Throughout the installation process Bob was very hospitable and accommodating. For instance, when we requested something, he was pleasant and cheerfully granted our request. Bob seemed skilled in a wide range of construction projects. This was one of the most pleasant and gratifying construction projects we ever had completed. Call him, you will be glad you did.

Hired to install flooring for living and bathroom, my bathroom has a platform area that he claimed wasn't included in the quote ok I trusted him so I hired him to do that and install a door, he couldn't figure out how to do the door so he just left it and didn't provide a divider for the floor, I wouldn't pay until I got a divider, well he came and gave me a black divider for my light-colored floors and walls very dissatisfied I feel cheated.
