Mertz's Moving

I called on Thursday after previous movers informed me that they were booked up. This company was extremely accommodating, and scheduled my move for the 2nd job of the day the following Monday. Two movers arrived as schedule. They were both very pleasant and professional. All furniture was moved very carefully and no damaged was observed. They were willing to take apart and reassemble an antique bed. The job was completed in two hours. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience.

They brought 3 movers and arrived on time They emptied the townhouse in a ittle over an hour. We have some very old antiques and they were extremely careful with them even to the point where they didnt lift our antique chest by the old leather strap handles but by the bottom . They also knew how to properly dismantle our gradfather'sclock and re-assemble it at the new location. They moved 4 large curio cabinets including removing and wrapping the glass shelves and then re-assembling them as well with no problems. These were the most concerned, polite and caring movers we ever worked with. We hiighly reccomend them to anyone needing movers The entire move was completed in about 3 hours. Even though they use 3 men, the charge wasa flat $202 for the first hour and $101 for each hour after that plus a small truck fee. These guys were terrific and we will never use any other company. Mertz's have moved me twice in the last 1-1/2 years, the first time on very short notice when another company didn't show up or call for hours. The men were polite, congenial, and took care handling everything without wasting any time. The price was reasonable. I have no interest in working with anyone else.

The move went smoothly - better than expected.

They were excellent. They were wonderful. They were prompt, they were helpful. We have some fine furniture and they were very careful with it. We have had trouble with other movers and we had no trouble with them. They are a family and they took their time and they were very careful in doing their job well. They were very reasonably priced. We will use them again.
