5+ years later and I am still fixing shoddy workmanship, ie fighting rain leaks, squeaky floors, poor and no insulation, etc. He was habitually late and worked short days, and ran a messy worksite.

We are currently working with Josh on siding replacement. So far, his estimate for the work is far below most of the others that we have gotten quotes from. He sided the house across the street from us and the work looks excellent. He also did some quick repair work in our home and we were very pleased with the result. He won't be doing the actual work until the spring more than likely but so far we like his work ethic and professionalism. He clearly understands customers and their needs. When he told us that he could possibly do the project before the holidays he said that he would get it done and put back up any decorations that had to be removed in order to do the work because, as he put it, he knows that we wouldn't want the place looking bad for the holidays. I call that a contractor who anticipates our needs.

it went very well. Josh is a professional. An old school mentality. he communicated well through out the process and was detailed on what he was doing step by step. His prices were very reasonable, we had 2 other bids. We are very happy with the quality of the finished product. We would reccommend Josh for any construction bids.

When I was ready to get started, he came out with two helpers and we discussed and covered the scope again in detail. They got started and the overall project took about an hour or so. It turned out to be a bit easier than he anticipated and so he ended up charging me only $300 versus the original quote of $450. They cleaned up, showed me the results, and asked me if I had any questions. On a side note, once I went to work on the deck, I came to a specific point where I needed help and I called Josh to get a quote to help me square up my posts and when he came out, he took the time to look over my work. He explained that I wasn't as "stuck" as I thought I was and he showed me how to make the necessary adjustments. He did this at no charge and after following his advice, everything fell into line easily. I will most likely be calling him back out when I am ready to put in the stairs as I am anticipating that I will have a tough time on my own with those.

I got them off Angie's list. He does work himself and does not use any subcontractors. He is close to where I live. His travel time would not be very high if I were to hire him. The reports I read about him on Angie's list said that he stuck to his estimates. He does not charge you anything else apart from what he quotes. He seemed to me to be an extremely hard worker. He seemed to be personable. He is buys right now, so he told me that he will get back to me by next week. I think he is pretty eager to work. He came when he said he would and he seemed to be professional. He knows what he is doing.

He's very easy to work with and he's been great!
