I started out with Empire, Home Depot, Lowe's, and a couple others. CMW is one of the best experiences with product/service providers. Having used Home Depot in the past for one large room when I first bought the house, it was a major pain dealing with them since you have to pay to get an estimate and you lose that money if you decide to go with someone else. I estimated from measuring the rooms myself this time, how much the job would cost but was put off by the price. Lowe's had a smaller selection but not very knowledgeable sales people, Empire was ridiculously limited, the most expensive (even with your 'free rooms') of all. A couple other local companies either had a less than stellar selection or were priced high. Under $3,000 for the whole job by CMW, and the least expensive although that had no bearing on my decision. They were recommended by a neighbor which is how I came to visit their showroom. They were attentive at their store, scheduled for a day that worked for me, arrived on-time with enough people to make this a less than 1 day job (they removed old flooring as well), worked quickly, were extremely polite. Couldn't ask for more in selection, knowledge, accuracy and politeness. I have recommended them to numerous people since and when I decide to change the carpeting again I would only call this company.

Found the company via yellow pages. They were one of 5 places I called that day to come out and give an estimate. They were not only the first to call back within 1/2 hour of my leaving a message, but were the only ones who called back that week, at all. The owner himself called me to discuss my needs and talk about the budget I had in mind, and we made an appointment for the free shop-at-home service for a few days later (due to my schedule, not his). He arrived on time for our appointment and brought MANY samples for me to choose from. A week later, my carpet was being installed (again, due to my scheduling needs). The installers arrived on time, ripped out my very old carpet, prepped by floor and installed the beautiful new carpet! I was (and still am) so happy with the outcome. Nothing was damaged in the process. The installers were friendly (but not overly engaging). In all, the whole process was great from start to finish and the job was done fantastically, very professional. I couldn't have been more pleased! Highly recommend this company.
