Bill was the electrician who came over to our home. He was very timely, efficient and very knowledgeable. Gave good advise on what we needed to do overall. He did a fantastic job of installing a three prong range in our kitchen and cleaned up very nicely.

Crew worked quickly, explained what was done, and cleaned up the work area before leaving. I would hire them again.

Bill H. was the electrician who worked on our home. He was very respectful and straightforward. We had a list of items to do, install fans and put them on switches and dimmer, make switchable outlets hot, add outlets, add an outdoor outlet. Bill always provided different options and explained the pros and cons of each as well as pricing. In some cases he provided options we hadn't thought about and we took his suggestions. His work was neat, done in a timely manner and the pricing was fair. He even added a few tweaks and extras along the ways that may have been small but would improve customer satisfaction with the job. I'd hire them in a second again and will when I need additional work done. Bill thought of everything and took the customer view on everything. Work was done as if he were doing it for his family and everything is guaranteed. Going with Gambino will sure make you satisfied and more.

I would have rated all 5 stars except they are on the pricey side. I had sticker shock for the quote they gave of $4100. It's been awhile since I had electric work done and I know there are some that would have done the job I needed for much less and with similar reliable good service. But it is not cheap to bring several different people out to look at you problem and give you an exact quote. (I would have once I found out how much the job was going to actually cost jus because I always like to get several estimates for comparrison.) The servicemen were on time, polite and took the time to explain everything they recommended to be done They did offer some lower cost solutions. The job took two days. Three men all day on the first and two men all day on the second. My reason for calling them is I had a circuit where some of the outlets worked sometimes and then sometimes wouldn't work while the other outlets were OK. I had flickering on one of the ceiling lights. Without describing everything done, here is a summary: 1) replaced entire 15A circuit with new wiring run through several rooms 2) decide to upgrade service box from 100 to 200A service (not actually needed but for might need in future and for resale value. 3) replaced all lights in basement with new lines and led light bulbs 4) replaced outside supply line from roof to service panel. I really needed this and combined with this project. I was told years ago I should replace the weathers and frayed line. 5) Replaced outside outlet with new GFI and protector box) I was VERY pleased with their work and feel fully confident that everything was done correctly. I feel a lot better with this new circuit and all they did that I don't have underlying electric problems that could cause a fire. Bill even installed another line with a junction box in the attic for any future work I might need to compensate me for my concern over the high cost of the project. I fully recommend John Gambino electric for major electric work where you will feel confident that you have good and reliable quality work done based on my experience. You might want to use a handyman for less expensive very minor work needed if you are short on cash. Overall, I have a very good feeling about this job I had done. I thank HomeAdvisor for coming up with the recommendations. This is my second time using them and both times I was satisfied with this service.

Within the hour of my posting Mr. G contacted me and arranged an appointment. He sent Bill H who arrived at the time we scheduled. We agreed to his on site estimate and he began working. In 1/2 day the job was finished!! This outfit is professional. Their work was clean and carefully done. Highly recommended!

To be honest, we hardly ever write reviews but we just had such a terrific experience we feel compelled to. We just moved to Ardmore and needed to have several light fixtures installed. We checked Home Advisor and got 3 estimates & John Gambino was the most reasonable. Bill, our electrician, arrived on time and could not have been more personable. He took his time making sure everything was installed exactly as we wanted. He even took time to address some issues-a faulty outlet and a garbage disposal on the fritz-that were not part of the deal. He made sure we were satisfied at every step of the work and insisted on dumping the garbage and vacuuming up after the work!! (Even though we told him we would be happy to take care of it ourselves.) Everyone knows the stresses of moving from one State to another, but we can honestly say of all the people we dealt with (RE Agents, lawyers, movers, etc.) this was the most convenient, professional and even pleasurable interaction we have had. We cannot recommend John Gambino Electric highly enough, and if possible request BILL, you absolutely will be glad you did!!!

Showed up on time on the scheduled date, Technician was very professional, courteous, performed the work in the time frame that was estimated, cleaned up after the job was completed. The project was the installation of Hydronic Electric Baseboard Heating units, and a new thermostat.

Job well done. Quick work too. Also clearly diagnosed a problem I had with some of the fixtures I purchased.

John called me shortly after I entered the project request online on a Sunday afternoon (unexpected and pleasant surprise). Scott and George showed up first thing Monday morning gave me an honest, reasonable quote for the interior electrical work that we needed done. They also diagnosed my curbside light issue and ran a new line out. Great guys, job well done and priced reasonably.

The two gentlemen who were here were professional, neat, respectful, helpful and pleasant. I would definately call this business again if needed.
