He suggested repairs that i had not thought of and turned out to be better than my ideas. He completed everything in one day. I would recommend him without qualification.
Description of Work: A number of small tasks. He put molding around windows, installed shades, etc.

+ -1 moreWe have been using Handy Hilf for our rental home in Philly for the past 3 years. He has always been honest, reliable, and professional with our tenants. On this particular occasion, we got a call from our tenants that there was a leak coming from the exhaust fan in the downstairs powder room. I called Jim, and he was able to go check out the leak in a timely manner. He traced the leak to the upstairs tub and noticed the caulk had broken loose allowing water to flow through a gap. He scrapped out the old caulk and recaulked the base of the tub. This was just a small job, but Jim has done just about anything and everything you could think of for us. We trust his judgement on repairs and rely on him a great deal to fix any problem our tenants may have, no matter how small. We would recommend him, and have recommended him to other homeowners in the Philadelphia area.
Description of Work: Checked for leak in downstairs powder room, found caulking at base of upstairs tub broke loose. Scraped out the old caulk and recaulked tub.
