We had a new sump pit installed with french drainage put under our basement floor. Great experience start to finish. The sales technician was experienced and knowledgeable in the field of residential drainage. The process was coordinated and explained well to us, and the build team was timely and proficient. Great job!

Great experience from the start with the person who came out to our house to give us the quote, to scheduling, to the day the work was completed. The work was completed in a timely manner and they were very thorough with explaining everything.

It went very well. Mike M. and Dana were very professional and explained the the repair very well. Then, a team of 10-12 guys came out, covered everything, finished the job inside of 6 hours. The work was done very efficiently and professionally. The workers were very kind and neat. They put the sump pump exhaust exactly where I wanted it.

We recently had Basement Waterproofing Specialists Inc. do a $13k install of new drain system and sump pump in our basement. We have just had the basement flood and, after investigating why, I discovered it was the installers’ negligence that caused this. When they installed the pump, instead of putting it on a dedicated line like they should have (this was info their own engineer confirmed for me as well), they plugged it into an outlet on a light bulb socket and then neglected to check that that outlet worked when lights were off (it did not). As a result of their negligence our basement flooded in this last storm and the flooring was wrecked as well as many of our winter clothes, upcoming holiday gifts, and several personal items that are not replaceable. I called the company so they could work out how to get it fixed/reimbursement/etc. and was told very rudely over the phone that it is not their problem. “We are not responsible for where it is plugged in” “YOUR basement flooded, and we don’t do that work nor will we be reimbursing for any amount” I am appalled at the callousness and complete lack of caring (they did not even say “sorry to hear you had flood”). I would like to get the word out to warn people that Basement Waterproofing Specialists Inc do not stand by their work when it is done incorrectly, and that after they have your money, they stop caring about you.

Not to good..Got a very fair estimate for a dry well--super nice people--day of the job, original plan was changed and as a result, the drain never drain--not once. I spent $3200.00 for a non-draining drain. Called and they said another $3000 was needed for a pump system which does me absolutely no good...so I was stuck and paid the bill. Worst home improvement ever--PVC should have been perforated and that may have helped...

Couldn't be happier with the level of professionalism, personal care, and attention to detail that we received while working with Basement Waterproofing Specialists. After experiencing several rainwater issues in the basement we worked with Aaron and the team to replace the entire sub-floor drainage system including new sump pumps with battery backups and external underground drainage pipe extensions. Took only a few weeks to get them scheduled and Doug and his crew were completed in only a single day even for a house our size which was unbelievable. Can't recommend them enough to anyone who is looking to address any rainwater issues they may have in their basement.

Had more than a estimate and they were the only one that was honest about what needed to be done. Did not make me feel like they were out to take advantage of a senior. Job well done.

I cannot say enough about the services provided. The workers were professional, pleasant and incredibly hard working. They showed up on time and checked in frequently regarding the progress of their work. Whenever I shared a concern or asked a question, they provided answers and explanations. Original work was 7,500. for waterproofing, pump and liner. They returned when I had additional questions and were amazing.

15 years ago, I had another basement waterproofing company, with a local office, work on another area of our residence. When I attempted to contact them to work on this area or tie it into the current setup, I found out that are no longer in business due to Covid 19 issues. The other branch offices would not accept the job since they operate independently and said it would be best to replace the whole system. Kiss that lifetime warranty goodbye. Did not want to replace the whole system. We contacted Basement Waterproofing Specialists thru Angie's list. Thier representative, Dean S., came out the next day, listened to us and not pressure us for a decision. The crew a couple days later, arrived on time (8AM), Worksite preparation & the job began immediately thereafter. The crew of 4 worked like a well oiled machine. They knew what and when actions needed to be completed and they did it efficiently. They cleaned up after they were finished & showed/tested us how the pump should work when the reservoir fills up. By 2:30 PM they were done.

Work went great. They were professional, covered everything in my finished basement. Job looks great and works well.

This company rehabbed my basement. Very professional, finished ahead of schedule. Easy to work with. Cleaned up after themselves. Basement will outlast the building now😁

We are very satisfied with our completed project. The Inspector was very Professional and knowledgeable he help us find the best solution for our basement. The installation started in a timely manner and the forman made sure to go over everything with me before and after the work was completed. Great company to work with from start to finish.

Do not believe their lifetime guarantee. The salesman sold us a dream and it is now a nightmare. The salesman guaranteed us that we would never get any water in our basement if we had their system installed and sold us on this fact. After paying $8000 for a French drain, window well drains, and a sump pump system, we still get water in our basement. When we called to explain this, they had us test the sump pump and when we told them it was working, they said it was not their equipment that malfunctioned and thus not their fault. The agent we spoke to was rude and threatened to hang up on me. Her only response to my questions was they do not cover "anything out of their control." She kept referencing the warranty which I requested and was never given (I even refused to check the box saying it was given to me and made note of this in the additional comments section on the survey we were given the day of installation). Long story short, I would never recommend this company. How they are still in business baffles me. My customer experience was extremely poor and if I could give them zero stars I would.

Terrible! First rain after a $9,000 job and my basement was a lake. They sent a guy the next day to say their "full basement" waterproofing didnt cover my specific problem. They did no work before hand to discover what my real problem was until we agreed to pay $9,000. Now, I have to pay for a contractor to fix my cement and I could have avoided this $9,000 disaster. Terrible company, we believe its a fraud.

The price was reasonable compared to other quotes we received. The company showed up when promised and the workers were professional and courteous. Work was performed to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company.

From the free consultation and estimate to clean up and send off these guys took care of my family, they didnt pressure me into anything and were very helpful and knowledgeable of their trade, they installed a french drain in my basement in about a days time, they treated my home and family like their own, one of the things I really liked about them was that they are a family/veteran run company, I highly recommend these guys if you need anything that they offer.

Workers arrived on time & were very courteous. I was very pleased with their work. I would definitely recommend them.

The work was done on time, in fact they arrived a day early and had the job done on time in the 2 days they estimated. I have 17 month old twins so having their schedules as little as possible was HUGE for us. The work was done efficiently and the best materials were used. We have had two major rains since then and our basement is still dry!!! Thank you! Recommend to anyone who needs waterproofing and wants it done right the first time

After two record-year rainfalls, our yard was chronically soggy with standing water at several low spots and lots of mosquito-breeding puddles. We considered trying to resolve it ourselves but their engineer had some ideas we hadn't considered. They installed over 300 ft. of drain pipes so surgically and neatly that we were able to host a party one week after completion and our guests couldn't tell anything had been excavated. Very professional organization from top to bottom.

Took a while before they came! Good Job done, except they didn’t do the Electrical work for the 2 Sump Pumps inside. They hooked the Electric up on the outside Sump Pump. This doesn’t make a sense to me! Other than that they were OKAY! For the Cost it should be included!

No water in basement since work was completed. Impressed with sales representative. Installation crews were good not great.
