Doors were installed but realized after they left that doors would not lock. They came back and fixed them and now the BIlco doors work great and look wonderful.

I'm very please with the work Basement Waterproofing Specialists did in my basement. We hired them to install a French drain and sump pump system. They also removed some wood panels that had mold and sprayed an area of our sub floor with an anti-mold spray. Candace did our initial inspection and she was amazing. She tailored a solution to what our specific needs were. Brian was our foreman and he and his partner completed the work in one business day. They worked non-stop until it was complete. Brian also walked me through the operation of our pump and backup system and answered all my questions and concerns. A few things to note as some may see these as a negative: 1) you will need to check with your town yourself regarding permits. Our town required one for the sump pump. 2) We also ran into some scheduling logistics as they had some truck issues on our originally scheduled day and we are also quite a distance from their main office. I'm generally flexible with those types of things though and didn't mind having to reschedule. 3) They were unable to bury our discharge pipe due to our walkway in the back of the house. This this was included in our contract from our initial inspection, but they removed that item from our final charges to make it right. Overall they are a great group of people to do business with and I finally don't have to be anxious and full of dread when I see rain in the forecast!

Head point person for us was Dean who was terrific! We selected him because he stated that his price was his price - we won't come back with additional charges because we find some surprises. BWS lived up to that statement! Our project was NOT easy and they did a great job! There were surprises and it took longer than they expected. They also came back when we found there was something not working properly and fixed it. Trustworthy and true to their word. No change to the price. Would absolutely recommend them highly.

I am very dissatisfied with the job, they want to charge me to come back and look at the issue, but I have warranty. I have wetness under the concrete, the drain that they installed was not done correctly, and I have water in my basement.

This group was punctual, communicated when a change in schedule was needed, and very responsive to post-job questions. The basement is beautiful and we are confident that the moisture problems have been resolved. I would recommend that homeowners be present while work is being done. That way questions can be addressed in a timely fashion.

Problem was water penetrating the basement. Demonstrated competence when evaluating the problem, provided a competitive quote and performed work as quoted on-time without any attempts at up-selling.

We had a slight mild problem in our basement, using undersized dehumidifiers and even some mold in our first floor bedroom and bathroom. Our sump pump was in an open pit in our unfinished basement. We were told the problem was minor. They supplied whole basement dehumidifier that is the size of half a chest freezer. They also sunk the sump pump and sealed it. They then set up an ozone mold remover device while we were out of the house. It kills the mold spores and leaves a whiteish residue where the mold once was. They were easy to work with and the best part of our experience was when we had an issue with the dehumidifier and called them. They came right out and fixed it. These guys are the real deal! I highly recommend them!

Horrible! First, the foreman called when the workers were already supposed to have arrived and said that they were running late because something happened to their vehicle. They arrived two hours after the end of the scheduled arrival window. When they arrived, I asked the foreman why they were late and his story was completely contrary to the broke-down vehicle reason he had claimed previously. They sealed sheets of plastic to our walls with industrial staples instead of tape, leaving holes in our walls. And their seal job was shoddy; so much so that for days after the job, LEAD PAINT dust kept settling on our furniture on the floor above where they did the work. A little bit of debris would've been understandable, but it was a lot of dust, and for a whole week after they had done the work. One of the three guys continually used our upstairs bathroom, at one time he was in there for almost 30 minutes. When the workers were finally done and about to leave, I noticed that they hadn't done a large portion of what they were contracted to do (remove ceiling tiles and insulation in one room and treat the wooden joists and ceiling). For some illogical reason, they only did a random third of this room. When I asked why he didn't do the whole thing, the foreman said, ÂI thought that was all I was supposed to do. I spoke to the person who sold me the service as well as a service manager, and another date was arranged to have the job completed (another day that I had to take off of work to now closely supervise and make sure the job got done). Instead of arriving several hours late like the last crew (or within the scheduled arrival window like a normal person), the second technician arrived 3 hours before the scheduled arrival window. I told him he'd have to wait until I got home. After driving more than 2 hours from the company's headquarters in Pennsylvania, the guy did not bring a crucial piece of equipment that he needed to do the service that I had paid for a HEPA vacuum and scrub brush attachment. Even though this equipment was clearly stated in my contract as part of what I was paying for, the technician and the service manager (Justin) both tried to convince me that they don't need this piece of equipment to do the job of removing mold from the wooden joists. After much deliberation (and actual huffing and puffing from the technician), they sent the technician to Home Depot to buy the necessary equipment. This time, I hovered over the technician the entire time and had to continually point out spots that he obviously missed. The final mold treatment that they do leaves a white splotchy look on the joists, so it's easy to tell what has been done and what hasn't. This technician (like the first foreman and technicians) tried to get over on me by not doing about 16 ft. of the ceiling and was preparing to leave. When I asked why he hadn't done it, he told me that the sprayer for the solution had stopped working. So because his equipm
