Met Basement Waterproofing Specialists at the Home and Garden Show. Very friendly. Decided to get an estimate for a water drainage/sump pump. Thorough inspection of the entire basement for the best system for our home. The system was explained to us and there was no pressure to make a sale. The estimate was good for 30 days and they offered a Military Discount. I called to make an appointment and got on the day I wanted. The guys that came to our home were very professional and the job was done in the time specified. The person in charged made sure the crew cleaned up and the project was done to standard. Very happy with our new drainage system, no worries of water getting in the basement!

When Dean Snyder promptly arrived he immediately looked at what I needed to have done to make my basement waterproof and mold free. He sat down with me and went over in great detail what needed to be done. The crew that came the next day were professional, clean, and courteous. They found a problem with my sump pump pipe and came up with a solution immediately. I am very pleased with the quality of the work that was completed in my basement. I received 3 quotes and Dan from BWS was the only one who sat down with me and took me through the process step by step. Upon starting the project another issue was discovered and immediately had a plan in place. Tom and Chris did a great job keeping me up to date, as it took two days. I could not be more pleased with the product and professionalism that this company has.

Professional, knowledgeable, friendly.and verymclean. Even went beyond the job and fixed my furnace pipe. The French drain installed was very meticulous and the team of three worked tirelessly for 3 days to finish the job well.

They arrived early (before 8am) and finished our "french" drain by 2:30pm the same day. Excellent job and clean up...I couldn't even tell they dug through the front yard when they finished. Very nice guys! Would definitely recommend this company!

The team worked diligently for the two days they were here. Part of the carpet to be removed was under a stack of furniture. I thought they were just cut the carpet around the furniture, but they moved all the furniture pulled up the carpeting and then put the furniture back and covered it with plastic.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with the specialists of Basement Waterproofing Specialists, Inc. this week. For the past several months, we had been combating minor water seepage into our basement after every rain. We tried every "fix" that we could think of before finally caving in and calling professionals to give us their assessment of our situation. We are so happy to have called Basement Waterproofing Specialists, Inc. (BSW). BSW arranged to meet us at our home after work on Tuesday. Two employees arrived promptly on time and immediately began to check our basement for evidence of water damage. Within fifteen minutes after beginning their inspection, they located the source of our problem: a crack in our foundation. After clearly explaining a number of possible solutions to this problem, we scheduled for them to repair the crack the following day. BSW completed the job before 1pm on Wednesday. Not only were they prompt (inspection to end of repair took less than 24 hours!), but they were very considerate of our property. The repair required them to dig into a flower bed, down to the bottom of our home's foundation. Upon completion, the flower bed appears better than before their arrival, for they even graded the bed away from the house. It's incredible! Their work carries a warranty that lasts for the lifetime of our house, too. We highly recommend Basement Waterproofing Specialists, Inc. for any of your basement waterproofing needs.

I couldn’t be happier with repairs done by Basement Waterproofing Specialists. From the original assessment and the in depth explanation of the steps necessary to correct water seepage in my basement they were completely professional. The work was done quickly with care taken to minimize dirt in my home, and they completely cleaned up when they were finished. Highly recommend!

Work was completed within 24 hours of approving contract; crew reported to work on time and completed within estimated time; work was done as described with documentation of each step; crew cleaned up area and it was a very difficult manual work due to clay surrounding foundation. Work is "guaranteed" for life of the home. There are many different approaches and costs to do repairs, so I recommend discussing with at least 2 contractors before finalizing.

Called concerning water coming through the wall and collecting in basement floor. Technician came out recommend a French drain (to eliminate the water seeping through the walls) French drain was installed. Not even a month later water still pooling on floor due to water coming through walls. ?Lifetime warranty on entire basement? apparently does not cover the issue they were supposed to originally fix and wanted another $1800 to further fix the issue instead of just doing it right the first time. Not to mention the job site was left a mess -Adhesive left on kitchen floor because they taped paper down instead of using drop cloths -Iced tea bottles and other trash left behind -large concrete coated board they used to level concrete left behind Crew arrived on the job asking me what they had to do, original problem not fixed and warranty is bogus unless you give them more money

From the free consultation and estimate to clean up and send off these guys took care of my family, they didnt pressure me into anything and were very helpful and knowledgeable of their trade, they installed a french drain in my basement in about a days time, they treated my home and family like their own, one of the things I really liked about them was that they are a family/veteran run company, I highly recommend these guys if you need anything that they offer.

From the beginning, we were very impressed with the presentation by Dave Kemmler. The crew arrived in a prompt manner and were very professional, knowledgeable and respectful. We are extremely pleased with their workmanship and results and would not hesitate to recommend your company. Looking forward to the next rain fall and our dry basement.

The BWS did a new rain drainage to replace the very old (ceramic!) drainage. They finished it with some mistakes and the drainage did not work fast enough. However, when I mailed them pictures of puddles accumulated on my driveway, the reacted very fast. Problem was fixed in a few days and now everything works just fine. My point is that every company could make a mistake. The more important is if the company is willing to correct them.

From the front office, to the salesman that came to my house to look at what work needed to be done, to the workers who did the work, they were all very professional and polite and answered all of our questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Basement Waterproofing Specialists to others.

We called them back twice on our project and they made adjustments without charging us. Family run, they want to be sure the customer is happy with the end result.

Price is high however finished product is top notch.

It started off on the first estimate. They did the **well the job is $7500 but if I take this discount and this one $6300** Then he saw I was not moved, came down more. But I did like the detail of the work he was going to do. So fast-forward they sent someone else out, and they were able to match a competitor (after downplaying the competitions professionalism) but ultimately I felt like they were going to do the right job. I wanted to learn about the process, and they were ok with me asking a lot of questions on the day of. Fast-forward to some other stuff I asked them where the peepholes were because they skipped that step. Well the foreman was apparently confused and was not planning on doing it. He thought it was a foundation wall. And apparently did not read the instructions that were given. But ok, he got it done. The finished up and I signed off. But after further inspection I noticed they did not seal off the sump cap and pipe for radon. Well good thing I am somewhat knowledgeable. The gentlemen Scott tried to play it off like it was no big deal that they almost did not form the weep holes. But I was concerned with the work. So he sent someone to properly seal for radon and said he can send someone to show me how they did the weep holes. Well I waited today 12-2pm. No one showed or called. I called at 210 pm and waited almost 10 min. She said she would call me when she heard back. Well 240 they called back saying could be another he or two. I was angry as I waited and lost time at work, and they did not have the courtesy to reach out now the rest of my day was wasted. I called and spoke to Scott who apologized and made excuses. I said I understand things happen but I do not understand why no one bothered to reach out to me. Well I guess he did not like that I dared her, because he seemingly got angry as he explained how his man is working hard and did not eat lunch or anything and has not come up to call. Again I explained I get it but my time is as valuable as his and I lost hours at work waiting and that is not right. Overall, my experience was poor. They claim to be a family run business and that is important to me but it feels like they are too big and too many things fell through the cracks. When they came out to sell me on using them, he kept saying we are top rated on home advisor and on search engines, etc... but not so sure that is true. Or maybe it is because they offer money to give reviews. Either way, I was disappointed with the customer service.

BWS put in a french drain and we are so far very happy with their work and the outcome. Inspector Lloyd was very helpful and responsive and foreman Earl went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and were getting the result we were hoping for. Even after the project was completed, both Lloyd and Earl were very responsive, answering questions and following up. The only hesitation we had was the price, but we felt we d rather go with an established company that is accountable for their work than a private contractor who may be cheaper but unresponsive.

The customer service of the office staff is amazing. Scott went above and beyond to ensure that my drainage system was efficient and effective. I am now very pleased and the quality of the work is top notch.

Mac was great coming out and evaluating our basement problem. He offered multiple options for remediation, including pros and cons of each, including costs. Once a plan was agreed upon, the date was quickly scheduled and the crew came out and competed the work quickly, efficiently and carefully! Would recommend highly!
