Description of Work: had them strip old shingles and install new, did nice work and kept area very clean. also had them put new soffit and fascia, gutters on. that wasn't the best, but acceptable . they are very good at the roofing and would recommend them to anyone.

 + -1 moreContacted about 7 different roofers in the area to replace roof (started having leaks last winter). Several were already booked through the end of the year, but did manage to get three to give me estimates. Barr's estimate was in the middle of the three. Signed contract in mid-June with an estimated start date sometime in late September or October. Barr required a 1/3 deposit at the time the contract was signed. Did not hear from the contractor again until mid-September when I called to check on an estimated start date. They claimed that they were just about to call me and would be ready to start in two days. Arrived on the date promised with a large crew. Complete repair took only three days (estimate had been five). Very satisfied with the quality of work. Crew did an excellent job of cleaning up each afternoon and when the job was completed. Overall very happy with Barr and would recommend to friends/family.
Description of Work: Removal of old shingles, repair of several damaged areas to subsurface (approx 1/4 of roof area) reshingle entire roof and repointed chimney.
