Mike Gisondi(owner) would invaribly show up with a lot of chatter and insisted on wasting time before getting to work, throwing football, playing with dog, etc. As he presents as a friendly and sincere enough guy, I indulged him for 15-20 minutes per day over 5-6 days, since he said he wasn't charging for that time, but his invoice still came in with maximum hours. In our initial negotations he would not give a flat rate but wanted to charge by the hour, which I now know why. I even allowed an "intern" to accompany him on one or two days to get experience for which he charged me half his hourly rate. At the conclusion of the job, switchs were oddly placed, backyard outlet didn't work any more, which did when he began, bathroom switch is placed backward, and he did not install a GFI by the kitchen sink, one double switch plate to dining room and kitchen has a dimmer when the other doesn't . When I complained he came by my house unannounced and left $50.00, while we weren't home, with a note saying he hopes this resolves the issues, which it didn't. I would have preferred he correct the problems. I would see him periodically in the community and would express my displeasure with his work however he refused to talk to me. In early 2012, he approached me in a local convenience store and stated that he realized he placed inferior lights under my kitchen cabinets and wanted to replace them free of charge. I permitted the replacement but it was clear that he was just attempting to regain my trust and business because he kept reiterating that he was closing his business because of no work and he was doing this out of "good consicence" before he closed up shop. I suspect he was just trying to get paid during a period of no work, because as evidenced by your request for a review he has not closed shop. He uses his rhetoric about working with aid organizations after Katrina and other outreach programs to foster a sense that you are dealing with a man of integrity, but we have since come to view him as basically a con. His work was definitely substandard for the price he charged us.

Mike, the proprietor, showed up on time. He worked hard and explained what he was doing throughout the process. I think he did good quality work at a fair price.
Description of Work: I had several electrical wiring jobs done, including wiring for a ceiling light, installation of lights and outlets in the basement, and wiring for an outdoor light
