All work appears to have been carried out professionally and with care. It was a complex situation involving using a wooded field across a road and up a hill from our house, replacing a WWII-era collapsing tank with pump-equipped modern tanks, and boring a tunnel under the road for access between the field and tanks. It took over a year to get the job done - Kristman is largely regarded as the best septic system folks in the area so demand on their services is quite high, slowing things down, plus the weather, once building began, frequently went sour. Kristman handled the health dept. permit while I handled the PennDOT permit to bore under the road. (Thinking back, it might have been better to have the boring subcontractor do the PennDOT permit as it required engineering information I did not know or understand but one of PennDOT's regional engineers helped me fill out the forms.) Kristman kept us in the loop and had no problem explaining what they were doing and answered all of our questions - the key here was I spent quite a bit of time studying septic systems so I knew enough to know what I needed to ask questions about. It was a tough job, but they got it done exactly on their price point, which was high but appropriate for the difficult area in which the field had to be installed. I strongly recommend CM Kristman to anyone needed septic work or services.

I called Kristman in a panic because my septic system failed inspection when I was trying to sell my house. They managed to squeeze me into their schedule. The technician was right on time and was so careful to maintain and restore my yard (we had an open house the next day and it looked great). They repaired some pipes, excavated to view the system and used a video camera to assure there were no obatructions. Through the whole process the owner, Elisa, was increadibly helpful and reassuring. She took the time to explain the system to me and worked with me to come up with the most cost effective solution. I highly recommend C M Kristman for customer service and expertise in their field.

These people are just the best! Prompt, reasonable price, and great work! My builder used them to put in my septic system in 2004. I have used them for 13 years now for pumping and service. Everything always goes as expected without a hitch! Quality people and contractors like this are hard to find in today's world. I highly recommend them!

Excellent. Very fast, responsive, polite, professional, service oriented. The technician Ferdinand, I believe was his name, provided explanation and maintenance advice free of charge. This is the second time I used this company, and I will use them again.

They seemed efficient and didn't quote an over-engineered solution, enabling them to be half the price of others. The workers were professional and careful. Very happy they were able to excavate very near my new patio without disturbing it at all. Couldn't be happier.

They built our pumped septic system in 2007 and it has been trouble free ever since. They've also done a storm drain replacement and plumbing inspections in connection with some remodeling we have done. All work has been very professional and fairly priced. In this case, we called them to schedule routine maintenance. They set set it up for the next week. They called the day before to remind us of the appointment. They showed up on time and did the work efficiently.

Well, the system works and is supposedly a very high-end system, but the yards was left a disaster. We cannot mow because of large ditches, and the yard is largely un-usable. We asked for more soil and were refused. We felt the yard should have been left in much better shape.

Fine. Turned up on scheduled day and performed task.
