"The new ProVia storm door is beautiful, but I can't even open it half-way before it strikes my hanging front door light. This issue was never raised by the sales person who came to measure my front door. When the installers arrived, they identified the issue, but they told me the light fixture could be raised to accommodate the new storm door. It was only AFTER installation that I was told the light fixture could not be raised sufficiently, and I needed a new one. Basically, I cannot use my front door until I buy a new light fixture and hire an electrician to install it."

Left nails all over the place, covered up my laundry gas outlet with siding, interchanged the garage light fixture with the porch which they had removed to install siding. Did not use or give us an option for whole house wrap, resulting in poor insulation. Cut up big square holes where electric goes in the house, numerous mistakes. Called numerous times never came, once he got paid. Stank up my bathroom when he used it. Now my neighbor needs siding and we both need new roofs, will never call him."

"One of the worst companies I have ever been employed with. I do not recommend working with Stirling Painting. I worked with this company for over 4 years. My supervisor also supported us as employees and was part of getting us medical benefits and a 401k. He drove us to work together and produced quality work in a timely manner. The first two years were good. Then I had some family matters to attend to and they were supportive. However, after I attended to those matters I was watched like a hawk and all their trust in me disappeared. The owner I dealt with put on a good front but in the end he only cared about making money and catering to his elitist clients. The secretary was down right rude, disrespectful, and inconsiderate to us as employees. You had to kiss her *** and stay on her good side. It was quite the emotional roller coaster working there. If that is your cup of tea, you will find your time with Stirling enjoyable. If you are a down to earth person and real, I would not recommend pursuing a career there. It was definitely one of the best learning experiences ever on how not to treat your employees or how to run a business. Since being let go over a year ago by my supervisor through a text message, not my boss (without a reason), I have stopped questioning my abilities as a painter and as a human being."
