Joe was professional all the way from the initial estimate in which he explained why this new chain link fence would work better for me and last longer than another wooden fence and I am glad he explained the difference and he's scheduled to return in three weeks to add additional fence to an area that was not fenced off.

Joe arrived early and started work immediately. He did an excellent job and hauled away the damaged fencing. He called me to inspect his work and ensure that I was satisfied. I will call him back to replace the other part of the fence.

Excellent customer service from my first contact (very quick response to my inquiry and quick delivery of estimate) and excellent workmanship. The area fenced was a little less than 12 feet and a very small gap between the end of the fence and the outer wall was filled in expertly. Fence is secured with steel poles driven 2.5 feet into the cement patio. I'm very confident it will withstand high winds and will hold up well over time. I found Joe, the company owner, to be very personable and easy to talk with about the work I needed done. I highly recommend the company to one and all!

I had a fence that wasn’t shutting properly and this was the reason for the deal purchase. He had advised me of everything that was needed in order to repair my fence. We settled on him replacing the front part of my fence as well as another portion of where the gate was. He told me that he would be replacing the poles and doors of the gate and he added an extra 250.00 to the price for the additional work. Hecame out and didn’t replace the poles. He took another skinny pole and welded it what was already there so that it was more of a kickstand/extra support to the poles that are already there. The existing poles that are rusted are still in place. Also, he didn’t replace the door. He only wrapped the fencing around the pole. Everything is a really shotty job and this work has not been completed. All he did was maintenance to the existing fence. While working on the job, I had let him in my home to use the restroom. He left my back door open, of which he later let himself back into my house and requested payment for his services. I am not satified with him or his work at all!

Responded very quickly to a request for an estimate to install a new wooden fence. I was very pleased. Hasn't done the work yet because I'm waiting for other estimates before I decide.

WOW! I called this morning. He called back this morning! Finished a job yesterday, a day ahead of schedule so came out this morning to check things out and give an estimate. Joe was definitely a fence expert and really walked me through what needed to be done. The price for the work requested is definitely fair - a little less then I expected! We have a date scheduled for the work and I am expecting excellent work to go along with an extraordinary experience so far. Another note: I called back to add a change - 1) he answered the phone! 2) he said "ok. no problem" to my requests. Thank you Angie's List for helping me find this company to fix my fence.

First, arriving at 7AM when you've scheduled 7:30 is a bad idea. He had seen and discussed what needed doing to the fence before, but he arrived with 6 inch pickets instead of the 3 1/2 inch ones of the existing fence. Needless to say, it doesn't match. I went out to check on the job after a while to find that he'd set the gate posts so close together that I never would have gotten my mower through the opening- remember, he removed the old posts and gate himself so resetting the new posts in the same place should have been easy. He moved them though, and after a few more arguments about fence installation, the job was done. It doesn't look too bad except for not matching the old fence. After he left, I noticed he'd only put one screw top and bottom in the center of each 6 inch pickett. So I'll have to buy screws this weekend and put two more, top and bottom. The 6 inch boards are already beginning to warp and cup.

Joe came out as promised and was pleasant and efficient in reinforcing my deck rail. Would recommend and call again in the future.

I will keep everyone posted on the final results but I am expecting to be very pleased

Joe installed the fence just as he described. Had an issue with the locking mechanism being to hard to access and he came back and put one on that we could all access. Great to work with!

I called for a price to install chain link fence on existing poles and spoke to Joe. He was very personable and offered to go out to my house immediately, since he was on the road and close by. He said he would take a look and give me a call within an hour. I am not sure if I will be using the company since I do not yet have an estimate, however, I have to say that their customer service is EXCELLENT!! Hopefully, their price will be as great as their customer service and I will have a new fence shortly!!! Thanks, Joe!!

I needed to change an existing fence. The job entailed extending the height of several short sections of fencing. I also had a shadow box style fence which wasn't providing me with enough privacy from my neighbors, therefore I also needed the old shadow box fence replaced. The fence turned out great. Now I can't see my neighbors at all?which is exactly what I wanted. Joe installed a latch that you can put on lock on which really is perfect for our needs. I would definitely hire him again.

Joe scheduled an appointment on Sunday morning. He was punctual, friendly, and professional. He called as soon as he was in front of my house at 7:30am. He asked what I wanted him to do. We took a walk outside and I showed him what I could see that needed to be repaired. He went outside and inspected not only the wood fence but the chain link fence also. Gave me a update on the state of both fences. He made the needed repairs. Completed the job in no time. He asked if there was anything else he could do for me. I told him I really appreciated him responding so quickly and doing the work on a Sunday morning before I went to church. He will definitely be my go to person for any fence replacements or repairs in the future. I could not have asked for better service. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

Joe, from Standard Fence was prompt in getting in touch with me the same day. He made an appointment and showed up on time the following day. This was Angie's List deal of the day. I paid Angie's List $99 directly to have fence posts secured. I'm not sure that I got my money's worth. But it was not the contractor's fault. Unfortunately my fence was rotted so badly that he could not secure everything. He did what he could do, but realistically I need a new fence. He quoted a price for a new fence, and I am still deciding whether I want it done.

Joe is coming out early Sunday morning to inspect and determine what needs to be done. I will submit another review once the work has been completed.

I very much appreciate the fast response from this company :) I will submit another review after the service has been completed. Update: Joe did an excellent job making the repairs to my fence. I want to replace the whole wooden fence with a vinyl fence within the next year or so because it's really looking sad, and told him this. So he gave me an estimate for a replacement fence. I will definitely be contacting him when I am able to have my fence replaced. Thank you for the "big deal" that ended up putting me in touch with a reputable company!

I was interested in having the fence in the back of my house shortened to allow for additional parking. I contacted Standard Fence Company and a few others in order to obtain a quote. Joe at Standard Fence Company responded the next day and scheduled a time provide a quote. His quote was within my budget so I hired him on the spot. I'm extremely pleased with the work he did. He arrived at my house on time and explained what he would be doing. He's extremely professional and very easy to deal with. As I stated, Standard Fence Co. tore my old chain link fence down ,installed a new one and it was done before I could get off work. Everything was cleaned up,and we couldn't be happier !! The job turned out very nicely and looks truly professional. ***UPDATE*** We had a problem with gate latching correctly that started just after all the ice that we got. STANDARD FENCE CO. came out within 15 minutes of my call, corrected problem at no charge and was very cheerful about the whole thing not leaving me feeling as though I was a bother to him as some companies tend to do at times. Joe DeMayo is a great guy that really knows his stuff !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

Joe arranged with my husband to come and do the job a week later. He was prompt and even gave us a call before coming. As I mentioned, the job was small and I was surprised that it took Joe less than two hours. (We had a fence put up just across the front of our house). Joe was professional, friendly and willing to answer your questions. He did not mind that my husband watch him do the entire job. There may be other work that Joe will be able to help us. If not, perhaps, he can give us a name. I would truly hire Joe again. He works by himself and when he comes he is prepared to work and not waste time.
