Description of Work: Replaced 4 pickets on a stockade fence and put up a new gate. Helped me stabilize another, older gate that was warped.

Description of Work: Fencing company repaired two broken planks and adjusted door latch. Had to call company several times to follow up with appointment. He finally came a two weeks later.

Description of Work: A section of the fence across the back of our property was bowed out. Joseph DeMayo of Standard Fence came out on 3/2 to assess the work needed, discussed the repair plan to install supports along the entire length of the fence. We scheduled the work to be done in one week. Mr. DeMayo and another worker were here promptly on 3/9 and installed the supports along the entire length of the fence as we agreed. Mr. DeMayo assured me the supports were sunk deep into the ground and would last the remaining life of the fence. Standard Fence's work was well done and they were prompt and clean. I would definitely recommend this company and would call them in the future.

Description of Work: Joe and I spoke by phone in October 2015 regarding an ongoing issue with my fence purchased from a major vendor in 2014. He made a site visit to my house in late October of 2015 and phoned me the same day with his findings and advised me on what was needed for a resolution. | |Although I was not at home at the time Joe stopped by, I could tell by the observations he made verbally that he actually made an appearance. | | I've yet to see what the original installer is going to do (since Joe's 2015 assessment, the wooden fence overall shows more signs of "graying" as he said it would and it looks older than what it actually is). | |If I decide to take a loss on this fence, I would definitely consider Joe as the installer (the vendor discounted the original cost of the fence because of difficulties with the installation). | |I checked out the Standard Fence Company's website and was pleased with what I saw. | |I appreciate the time Joe took from his busy schedule to provide an assessment while he was in the area.

Description of Work: Joe was very helpful. I explained what I wanted and he was very honest and practical. I appreciated his advise. He explained that what I wanted would be custom and he didn't do that type of work. He didn't try to talk me into something I didn't want. He also was kind enough to provide an estimate for my place of business as he does that type of work. Very honest, kept in touch by phone and arrived when he said he would.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a wooden fence repair for $99.00. When the contractor arrived I asked him to give me a price on repairing vinyl gates as well as one wooden gate. He re-hung the vinyl gates and built a new wooden gate on site as well as re-nailing several wooden fence slats. He was very skilled and very nice to work with. The price was slightly high, but in line with other fence repairs I have had done in the past.

Description of Work: Horrible! I tried to meet with the person. The person never even gave me his/her name. Wanted to get an maintenance on fence: 2 loose gates. Sent him pictures of the fence. Person looked at the fence without talking to me then gave me an estimate of 440.00 to fix even though the coupon described the exact problem of my gates. When I told him I wanted maintenance for the gates only and asked if that would be covered with the $99 he said he could try but it would not be until sometime after the end of July, no set date. When I requested the refund the first time he said he would look at it on last Tuesday. I have heard nothing from this person since then. I want my money back!! See below: Standard Fence Company 7/12/2015 No. I forgot. Here is what I'm going to do. I'll adjust the gates to fulfill the 99 dollar deal and get your yard sealed up. I will try to slip this in before I go on vacation this Tuesday. I will not be back for two weeks. At that point I will give you and estimate for additional work. Thank you.

Description of Work: Repaired gate across driveway, added approximately 6 - 8 feet of chain link fence to existing fence to enclose backyard, added bar to the bottom of one section of fence. | |They arrived as expected and did a great job. We had gotten two estimates from companies on Angie's List. Standard Fence Company had the lowest estimate and was most professional.
