Great crew that understands the business and needs of the customer. We had a large project at our house and the team was excellent with working around the family and completing the work. John was fantastic. Professional and quality work.

Dave was super professional, I hired him just as construction materials skyrocketed. During construction he said the price of materials started to come down, which I didn't know... He offered to throw in a full insulation job at no extra cost, I was totally amazed at his complete honesty. He also did other extras that i wanted and never asked for more money!! The garage came out amazing, I would highly recommend him for any phase of construction or masonry... He's highly reputable and highly trustworthy!!! Thank You Dave... Paul Honesdale, PA

Very knowledgeable, conscientious, always does what he says he is going to do, is super cost conscious while giving and doing high quality work. He goes above and beyond to do whatever it takes to do it right. Even the inspectors have a high regard for him and his work. He’s able to switch gears when or if something new or different is requested and and able to advise c when we weren’t sure what we wanted. Couldn’t be happier with the results he’s produced so far.

Dave and his crew, including his carpenter John, did a fantastic job of building a storage shed for us. This shed involved the demolition of an old building which existed on a old stone foundation. Dave rebuilt the stone foundation and kept the period look and then built the entire shed atop a new cement floor. The final product met our expecations and is solid, sturdy and well built. He used quality materials and did not take any shortcuts. We are happy with Dave and his crew and do recommend him.

Dave and his crew and contractors built a large garage with a second floor heated and finsihed room with interior stairs for me. The quality of the work was superior. Dave figured a less expensive and better way to build the garage with trusses than any other contractor who I got estimates from He was spot on in recommending extras over the original plan and fair in the pricinjg for his suggestijons. My neighbors are envious of his work.

Dave was hired to excavate under an existing cottage and install a basement/foundation. Additionally he built a patio and stairs down a steep grade. Dave did an excellent job and we are pleased with the final product. He encountered obstacles along the way that other contractors would have thrown in the towel, but he worked through these and delivered. The final work has received great comments from neighbors and friends.

Dave Doyle is not an honest contractor, nor is he someone that you want to do business with. I hired him at the recommendation of my interior designer, to build me a tabletop for my kitchen. She negotiated a price of $700 for a cherry wood table and provided him with a template for the size and shape. She relayed to me that he would sand it smooth, then stain it the color of my choosing and then would apply $200 worth of food grade epoxy. We thought this was a high price, but she remarked at how good of a woodworker he was and that it would be worth it.He asked for a $500 deposit, and we gave it to him. It then took him 7 months to produce a table. That, however, is not at all what I have a problem with. I was very patient with his timeline throughout the process. I contacted him monthly to check on his progress.There was one thing I emphasized to him every time I contacted him that was important to me. I was not 100% on the template he had been given, and I simply wanted to verify the measurements. Every time I messaged him, which was not often as I did not want to hound him, but around monthly, I would ask for him to check on the template measurements and let me know. He never had the template handy, and apparently had given the job to a subcontractor of his.I mentioned to him that one of the reasons we decided to pay $700 for this table was because he was so highly recommended as a wonderful woodworker. His response was that he was very busy and only does it himself when he is slow. This is understandable, but it is not the idea that was sold to me. However, at this point he had my deposit, and I just put trust in the fact that it would at least be up to his standards.A week after this conversation, I received a text with a picture of the table, cut to size. I was shocked as after 7 months of every communication I sent asking for a measurement of his template before cutting, how could he go and cut it without verifying this with me I mentioned this to him, and his reply was it is exactly what she drew Okay? I, the customer, though, asked him on a monthly basis to simply verify the measurements before cutting. Then he said to me I was told about this in April when it was in December that he cashed my check - but that was irrelevant to the point. Finally, he tells me the measurements, and fortunately , they work for us. Then he tells me it just got 3 coats of urethane. Wait, what?! This was *key* to the job was that we would have a choice of stain after sanding and prior to this $200 of food grade that would be applied. I asked him what color it was stained, and he said it was natural. OK, now we rare really getting out of control here. This is totally not what we asked for at this point. He started to get increasingly ruder, when finally I expressed to him that I would really just like our deposit back at this point as I do not think we are going to be able to get what we contracted him for. He told us that was not going to happen and we could take it or leave it. He made a huge issue over receiving cash for the final $200 balance, and we drove up and got our table.When we got the table home, it was impossible not to notice that it had barely been sanded. It is very rough on the top, and your hand gets splinters if you brush your hand across the top. Further, it could not possibly have received less urethane than this table received. Any spill will immediately stain it. There is zero chance that this table received three coats of $200 of food grade epoxy This man might be a great woodworker (although I do not have any experience with that), but he is a terrible businessman, and from what I can tell, not much better of a person.

Dave and his crew are true professionals. They did exactly what we discussed and were all very courteous. I'm glad I found Dave's company on Home Adviser!

Hard to find the words to tell everyone how good Dave and his crew are. They are hard workers, show up when they're supposed to and do a PERFECT job. They also go above and beyond what their job is! Their prices are reasonable and we knew we could trust him from our first conversation! He repaired the work a prominent landscaper did and never made good on the repairs. I tripped on the uneven pavers at the pool and had a black eye, broken glasses and permanent damage to my wrists. I sent them the pictures and they made promises and never showed up. We could not be more pleased with Dave Doyle and just lined up another job for next week. I welcome any telephone calls asking for references.

Responded quickly and finished my small project very fast. Very nice professionals as well.

David had some ideas that were better than my own, he and his help we're just a pleasure to work with.

Dave showed up promptly to review the project, gave me a fair estimate and completed the work within an acceptable time frame.

We found Dave very helpful and professional. His work was great and we were very pleased with the outcome. Perhaps, just as importantly, he was prompt, reliable and got the job done right away. When there was a problem with the supply store, he kept us appraised and suggested that we call the manager directly, which resolved the problem right away. He and his crew showed up when they said they would and were consistent and hardworking the whole time they were here. We were very pleased overall and would hire them again for our next project.
