Description of Work: My realtor was Sheryl Murphy. She was knowledgable, professional, and made the buying process fun. I was a first time home buyer, so I needed a bit of hand-holding. When we encountered radon, termite damage, and a low appraisal, she fully explained my options and made the appropriate recommendations. I purchased a beautiful home for a great price and I give Sheryl the credit for making it happen.

 + -1 moreThis update concerns a real estate agent, used to buy a home two years ago, who loyally and unhesitatingly offers much help in acquiring knowledge concerning a property with which she has no connection and in which there is no monetary reward. Her time is all she has to buy and sell homes for a commission in very hard times for her field of work.
Description of Work: This is an update to the review I submitted in 2011, concerning Dawn Yates of Classic Properties, serving the Scranton, PA area. Two years after purchasing our home, a question arose concerning an unrelated adjacent property which was foreclosed;. This issue did not concern Dawn, nor was there compensation on the horizon for her. Nevertheless, she was so pleasantly willing to research the answer (which is a complex legal issue) and get back to me. Even on this first phone call, she had many helpful steps I could take in the meantime. Here is a real estate agent, who makes her living in these hard homebuying/selling times, willing to spend her time for a completely non-remunerative task, willingly undertaken to help a 2 year old customer who's unlikely to buy another home for quite some time, if ever. This lady is loyal, pleasant, knowledgeable and with high integrity.
