ABINGTON PAVING

I had called this company, and first off, they answered the phone "HELLO", instead of Abington Paving. Not only once, but several times. When you run a company, you MUST have a seperate work and home phone. That was there first strike. Secondly, he returned my call a week later and was very unpleasant. He asked me where I lived and how he would get there. I started to tell him and I felt like i was talking to someone who lived out of state instead of someone who only lived 8 miles away. I had to tell him 4 times and he was just clueless. It's so easy to get to my house. Also, even after i told him several times that i'm never off on Thursday night, he said that he only does call backs then and he does his estimates on days that i'm never off either. He should realize that not everyone is available on the days that he is. He runs his business around himself instead of the customer. He couldn't spell a simple street name when I told him. I realized after talking to him for 5 minutes and calling the business several times that this was NOT someone I would want coming to my house at ALL. I ran a small landscaping business years ago and you MUST accomodate the customer at all costs or they will go elsewhere as I have. Overall, this is not a professional business. THis is like a two guy business that is not well run at all. IT's not rocket science. A customer tells a business when to stop by for an estimate and they should be there. No questions asked. NOT the other way around. I really think this guy, Kevin, needs to go to school for classes on how to run a business. In the word business, "u" comes before "i". Remember that!!!!

Kevin was very courteous and the job was done very professionally. His cost was right on target with the estimate he gave me months earlier. I recommend this company.
