We first called these guys in 2004 because we needed new shingles on our roof. It was a fairly easy job for a roofer and Cliff's estimate was the lowest of three. The work turned out fine and we were so pleased that we had him estimate an addition to our home in 2010. The project we had in mind was difficult and two other contractors looked at it. One never gave an estimate. The other said it could not be done. Cliff was hesitant about it as well and said so. But in week or so he called saying that he had an alternate proposal for the addition. We put the extra room on a different side of the house and were able to add a garage underneath. The elevation of the garage floor and the height of the roof were very critical in making the project a success and we had our doubts the whole way. But Cliff was painstaking in his planning and we ended up with a huge improvement to our house! The neighbor assured me we would have water on the garage floor but he was wrong. There are several houses on our street with water problems. He subbed-out the concrete and drywall but he was on-site the whole time. There were times of miscommunication along the way but you are going to have that with any contractor. My wife worked long and hard figuring out the layout she wanted and Cliff and his son made it happen. High quality workmanship all-in-all. I have seen and done enough of this sort of work to know good workmanship from bad. The only caution I will give you is that Cliff and his son do such good work that they do not have trouble finding jobs. If they seem too busy to get to you it isn't because they are unprofessional. They simply don't need to hustle or people-please to keep busy. Their work speaks for itself. We had them put the same siding from our addition on the rest of the house so that it matches.
